Since the old lot left and the owner changed all the staff, something is just different. Portion sizes have changed, savaloys are left sitting in water and don’t have the same taste or that little crunch I used to love with the old ones. Sausage seems to have changed also from what I remember. Sadly won’t be returning for a while. Found one nearby which is more like the old Bromley hill fish bar.

Food was nice, good chips. I was shocked at the prices, BUT that's not only this shop, obviously. Prices have risen everywhere, but £4.50 for a large portion of chips is crazy. As I said, it's everywhere, so not this shop alone. Nice staff, fresh food, I was happy.Remember back in the day, when fish n chips was considered to be a cheap meal???

Went to Bromley hill fish bar last night. First time in a year. There has been a big change. Used to be a sign on the wall telling you what oil the chips and fish were fried in, that’s gone and it’s evident that the chips and fish are fried and a cheaper oil. Prices are dearer and the portions smaller. Must be new owners as this was not the Bromley fish bar of old. So disappointed as this was the best fish and chip shop around. It’s not even mediocre at best. Will not return.

Excellent first meal from Bromley Hill Fish Bar tonight. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the fish was cooked to perfection. What more could you ask for?

Not as nice as the previous owners. Chips not as crispy/ fresh or chunky and fish had way too much batter on them- lacking in taste. Don't know if its the oil or what??So disappointed as for years always looked forward to friday's. Hopefully it will improve to the previou owner standards.

Had a wonderful lunch at this hotel. Our server, Diane, added to the great experience, being efficient with bringing the food and collecting our plates and giving her own personal recommendations. The food was wonderful; there is a set menu option which is great, and I believe it is available during the week as well.
