Glades Costa was not serving any drinks after 6.30pm. The shutters only came down a little way only after I mentioned about when they were closing. They are very unhelpful staff members.

Service is super slow. I gave up waiting.

Fabulous cappuccino the size of a swimming pool!

I went here for brunch, after a bit of an evening! It is a very popular café, with many young Mums with pushchairs popping in for a takeaway coffee. I had a Tuna Melt and a large cappuccino, both were excellent. The staff were super-efficient and friendly, and dealt with everyone with great courtesy and as far as they could too! It was very clean throughout, and the tables were promptly clearex away and cleaned when customers left. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to have a relaxing coffee.

Nice place to sit after the gym, have a Cappuccino and a croissant. Staff very friendly, preparation area kept clean and so is the coffee making machine. Can get busy during midday/afternoon.

Worst coffee I've ever had. NO Froth, milk had no texture and it was like warm. Change the staff or teach them how to make coffee.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I found my experience today to be quite poor. There was a clear lack of communication between staff, with the gentleman making my drink having to ask me to repeat my order several times. This worried me as I am lactose intolerant, and usually COSTA will identify on the cup which milk you have asked for, but this was not done. I asked the lady who gave me my drink (a larger Asian lady with curly hair) to confirm that the drink had oat milk and she looked at me and said 'obviously... why not' then turned around to snicker to another member of staff. I truly did not appreciate this rude and condescending behaviour. The only reason I gave two stars and not one is because the other gentlemen serving were polite and helpful. Shame the attitude of this woman had to bring the store down.

I asked for a toasted tea cake to eat in and a medium latte in a takeaway cup as I can't lift the glasses they use because of arthritis. The woman serving me put the tea cake on a plate, then made my coffee, then took the tea cake off the plate and put it into a paper bag. I asked why she's done this and she said it was to take away. I explained about the take away cup and my arthritis and she repeated that it was to take away and passed me the bag. By this point there was a sizeable queue so I went to a table and had to use my own knife to butter the tea cake.If she wasn't sure about what I wanted she could have asked for further explanation, or consulted a colleague. All public-facing staff should be trained to deal with this kind of situation. If the staff train each other, the mistakes can get repeated again and again. It's a shame as I love Costa and find the majority of their staff to be excellent, and the staff in my local branch go out of their way to make my visit a pleasant one.

Very slow service and then after 10mins told they didn't have "something" so we had to get a refund.. Not a great experience.

Stopped for a hot chocolate, service was great I said I liked the cream on top and she gave me a good helping!!Only criticism is I think staff need to keep on top of clearing/wiping tables as almost all tables were available but mostly dirty from previous customers.

A barrister called Randy (guy wearing black glasses) clearly doesn’t have much customer service experience or even basic manners. For all the parents who has to look after their baby/toddlers alone while trying to have some food, this is a place to avoid. Randy made it not kid-friendly.Randy made it as if we were a trouble rather than customers. Randy noticed suggested I should carry the pot of hot water and a mug to my table all by myself while holding my son. When I asked him if he could help me. He rejected immediately and said they don’t take drinks to customers. What a gentleman! I’m a regular customer for Costa and all of staff offered to lend a hand when I was with my son as it can be very difficult and dangerous to push the pram and take a tray. I also can’t leave him alone at the table. Randy, you should be shamed of what you did today. You ruin this Costa. Just leave. More than one customers heard us and offered to help instead! They couldn’t believe what he said neither.

Just a brief coffee break while awaiting my slot as part of Bromley Make Music Day. I must say that the coffee was very nice. I found the small size quite adequate and not too pricey at £2.80.
