Came for my 20th birthday with family. We’re originally from South Africa and didn’t have high expectations for the UK franchise but we were wrong. The food tasted exactly the same and the service from all the staff was AMAZING. We drove 2 hrs to try the UK version of ocean baskets and will definitely travel 2 hrs again for this restaurant. It’s 1000000/10 from me and my family. We didn’t catch the name of our waiter but he was young, well mannered and extremely friendly!
Went for Ocean Basket Bromley for the first time today. I thought the food was quite tasty although, I thought it could have had a little more flavour. The prawns needed more of a kick, the calamari was tender, but lacked salt and the mussel portion was not value for money as they were not green lipped mussels and were very small. First time we'd been here but my friend had heard good things about it so we stopped off for a quick bite and had some fish (Hake) and chips which was reasonably priced at £9.50 each and was lovely. My friend also had white bait for starters which he loved. Staff were all lovely and friendly so we will definitely be making another visit soon.
