Top quality roast yesterday!! Everything was roasted fresh, great potatoes and the chicken was perfect!A bad roast at a pub can be a bitter disappointment and always a risk, great to find a good one here!The broccoli leek and cauliflower cheese is inspired and tastes amazing!

First visit since it's changed ownership. Service and atmosphere still great. Food has changed for the worse though. Increased in price and decreased in portion size. £10 for a chicken burger and then £4 for chips is a lot even if it tastes nice.

A really nice guy who works behind the bar (face piercing) checked on me after another man had been a bit creepy. Really respect that guy for checking I was okay. Great pub, great atmosphere, if you’re reading this face piercing man, thank you

A lovely sunday vegi meal but the portions were tiny. £16 for a sunday meal and you want to leave not hungry. Great staff and beers. Fab music nights. Small portions 3 stars.
