“Went to Sakura with two friends this evening to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. They hadn’t been advised it was my birthday celebration but they obviously must have cottoned on to the fact as after our meal they brought up a chocolate mousse cake with a lit candle in it and played happy birthday to me. A lovely gesture. They also offered us all a liqueur. A great restaurant with lovely staff. I was only sorry that some of them had gone off duty by the time we left so I couldn’t thank them all in person.”
