Very nice pub. Friendly staff craft beers. Its still a nice pub, even though Google still asks me. And it will be a great pub. Get a life AI Google.

Really friendly and efficient service, with a wide range of beer and other drinks. The pot meals (curry, chilli etc.) are served until late and are great, with a decent range of snacks available too.Vegetarian options: Three vegetarian options on pot meals.Parking: Need to sign into parking with registration on the bar.

Great local pub, excellent range of beers and ciders on tap. Pint from 4.20, great value for money!

Good beer selection and nice staff. Would like to see some high-end pales in the fridge for the days when the taps don't excite.

Can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed the Hope. It’s a local institution and was my ‘local’ for several years. When in the area I still make an effort to go. Great range of beers, always something new, regularly have limited or rare releases. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

As far as beer goes, this place cannot be beaten. It always has a superb selection of ales and something for everyone, no matter what your taste. Its range of snacks is outstanding, and overall the quality of the food gets better every time we eat there. They also have a beer festival at the end of each month which is usually so popular most of the stock is gone in a day and a half.Cannot recommend this place highly enough, especially if you have even a passing interest in a pint ?
Took my very well behaved baby along for a quick drink and very rudely got asked to leave after paying for lots of drinks. Tiny invisible sign saying no under 14s. Very upsetting for a tired parent!!!

Very nice pub. Serves simple but nice home comfort food and they do lillies cider. Menu is a chalkboard on the wall. No fancy apps. Parking is easy. Just add your number plate to the machine as you go in. Warm.friendly old pub. Very good prices. And for those driving they have a lovely non alcoholic mango

Excellent selection of beers from knowledgeable staff. Not a Carling, Guinness or Strongbow in sight.

A truly excellent pub. Well kept ales. A good selection of alesWe ordered a ham sandwich; it was very good. It was good because firstly it was real ham and secondly on a Saturday lunchtime they served the ham in bread that had clearly been baked in the past couple of hours. Then to cap it all they had about 8 Morris sides performing FOC all afternoon. A day to remember.
