9 Cricklewood Broadway, LondonLast Saturday I went to Abyssinia with a friend. The restaurant is one of the oldest Ethiopian eatery in London. The day being Epiphany holiday, we ordered the festive Kitfo and a vegan mixed platter. Both dishes were excellent and they were prepared to our liking. A traditional herbal tea was the 'cherry on the top' of this whole experience.

The Beaten Docket London
50-56 Cricklewood Broadway, LondonWetherspoon's got it dead right with the design of The Beaten Docket. It has lots of cosy corners and comfortable booths that offer a degree of seclusion. I find this relaxing, whereas with some of the pubs in the chain they've opened more recently they've gone for an open, barn-like layout, which means in those places there's no cosiness anymore and lots of noise.

388 Finchley Rd, LondonOk, it's a multiple, but appearances can be deceptive. A small open air area, but behind the serving counter is a haven of quiet. Food is motorway service area priced, so it's a lifestyle choice! Coffee good and strong as regular readers will know my tastes. No pressure, squidgy seating, just a little tired, but again, just how I prefer it. Still takes cash, unlike other establishments which now don't have my custom. Give me choice and I'll use you, force me to go cashless and I'm gone.All in all, a good, relaxing experience.

40 Cricklewood Ln, LondonI love Eat Tokyo, have been to their other locations, but why does this one close at 6pm just when you are starting to look for dinner?? No wonder I've always missed this one's existence, it's never open on evenings and weekends, the only times I ever go out for food! Do they think they're running an office and not a takeaway?!

Was really polite and professional and did not pressure me whatsoever. Very thankful for this experience after having a bad day! A big thank you to that staff member, little things really do mean the world sometimes. Also ended up finding something I liked ?

173 Cricklewood Broadway, LondonSweet little spot with great Internet (which saved my life for a work meeting that day!)The staff was very accommodating and patient and sweet while we checked the Internet. One of them was an impressive polyglot who seem to speak everything from Portuguese to some Eastern European languages in addition to a perfect English!The coffee was good but the bakeries we ordered let us down. They were dry and old, no flavour. And for the cost of £3+ it should not be anything but delicious!

383 Edgware Rd, LondonPlaced on a main road, ideal for a quick stop for fuel. Air and water available at this location. Costa Coffee machine for hot drinks, and Subway for a bite to eat. Fuel is a slightly more expensive than other locations, but that is to be expected from Shell.
