Had the Chicken liver parfait, toasted milk bread, balsamic onions, mandarin marmalade... delish ? Oh, and the Chateau d'Ollieres
Coteaux Varois en Provence... goes down like a dream ?
Was looked after today by the lovely Erinlee ... 1st class ☺️

Mill House Cafe
37 Mill Lane, LondonGreat food and service.
Had coffee and breakfast with family and friends on a Sunday.
The crowd was well managed and the waiting wasn’t too long fortunately.
Nargis, our server was prompt in providing service and we were happy to be seated inside on a warm day.
Will definitely visit again.

Nando's Kilburn
308 Kilburn High Road, LondonHuge shout out to Denis from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left he gave us the best service. He was very attentive and made sure we got what we ordered and we were satisfied with our food. We came with a child and straight away they were given crayons and a paper. My child is neurodivergent and accidentally dropped one of the glass cups, Dennis made sure it was swept away reassured us it was okay and got us back to eating in no time. I have no doubt he will make it far in life, great attitude and demeanour and always smiling. Definitely coming back to this Nandos just for him!

Costa Coffee
203 West End Lane, LondonI pop in from time to time on Saturdays for a coffee at West Hampstead. The staff seem to change quite often, but there are two male staff members (from Greece ??) who really stand out.
They are always so professional, friendly, smiling and welcoming. It makes such a difference to start your day with that kind of positive attitude.
A big thank you to both of them for always making us feel welcome. Honestly, they are the reason we choose to have our coffee here rather than at one of the many other coffee shops around.
Great service and lovely people really do make a difference! ❤️

262 West End Lane, LondonAmazing pizza deals, had the £2 mini pizza and was amazing, it only is available from mon to friday upto 4 pm max, other than that the pizzas r cheap and taste delicious, would defintly try it again.

West End Lane, LondonThis is one of three stations quite close but unconnected. A perfectly functional station, the staff were nice when I asked if I could use Oyster on Thameslink and they said yes but only within London so going to Brent Cross would be fine.
As you leave this Overground station, the underground station is to the right and over the crossing and the ThamesLink station to the left around the corner.

365 Kilburn High Road, LondonChicken cottage is a staple and great fried chicken shop on the high road. Inexpensive and always fresh in my experience. Great location as it's perfect for leaving the train and sitting down with a hot cheaper meal than the party farty cafe's when you're hungry after a long journey but don't want to break the bank.

Your mum’s kitchen
17 Goldhurst Terrace, South Hampstead, LondonAbsolutely delicious and flavourful lunch on a cold day. I had the ramen. It came with egg and you could add whatever topping you want! I chose veg dumplings, rice cake and fried tofu. The dumplings were flavourful and sweet, the rice cakes soft and chewy, and the tofu soaked up all the delicious flavour and spice. My partner had the spicy squid with sticky rice, super generous in portion size, lovely vegetables. He had plum honey tea and i had yuzu honey tea. Luckily you can buy jars of it upstairs once you've got hooked on the stuff!

176 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 4JD, KilburnEvery time I go in this branch, I feel so welcomed by the staff. No matter how busy it is, I never wait more than 5 minutes for my coffee! The Algerian lady that works there makes the best cortados and lattes. Other staff are good too. If you love Costa don’t go to the one on the bottom of the high road opposite primark! They are the worse!!!

79 Kilburn High Road, LondonJust wanted to give a shoutout to Atta at the Greggs on Kilburn.
I was in the queue and saw him dealing with a really difficult and, honestly, incredibly rude customer. Even though he was being spoken to so badly, he stayed calm, polite and professional the whole time. He was also genuinely kind and supportive, which really stood out to me.
I was honestly stunned by how well he handled the situation. It can’t be easy dealing with people like that, but he never lost his composure.
Atta is a real credit to the team, and after seeing the level of customer service he gave, I’ll definitely be coming back to this Greggs more often. Hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

Papa Johns Pizza
177 West End Lane, LondonHaven't had Papa Johns in years but I moved in recently and was looking for cheap eat.
Chain pizzas don't offer great experience, I'd much prefer Fireaway or Dominos for the dough but this was ok. Not great, but decent pizza, even as small it served the purpose. Also I was very hungry. Some ingredients don't feel fresh, like mushrooms, and are very dry. Arrived super hot so pros for that.
Clean store but I was the only customer. Pizza guy on the phone, seems private. I know it's a standard in London now, but it's low customer service.
EDIT: 23/08/26 Visited again, everything was better: friendly customer service, food was better, that pepperoni had lots of fat, quite enjoyed it. It's not your artisan pizza but for that value, you can't go wrong. Pizza stick were bland though, no real flavour, only tomato sauce was good, would like to have a jar of it.

127, 129 Kilburn High Road, LondonVery clean branch, looks new or at least it has been refurbished recently. I'm not local so impossible to say.
Good burger, good amount of crunchy onions and meat itself was crispy too, which is very unlikely in Mc, seems someone kept in on a bit longer.
Service was a bit weird, don't know what to think about it. I was told my burger was waiting for me 'long time' but I used app, so it's not up to me when app decides to send confirmation to the branch, based on how long it would take to get me there. Anyway, weird comment.
