HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE PLEASE AVOID!There’s a nasty older woman (as the other bad reviews say), and, apparently, she’s a ‘manager’ who’s got a hostile attitude and also a bald-headed guy. From the moment we walked in they were super disrespectful, uninterested and not knowledgeable about the drinks at all. We asked for their names to make a complaint and they refused to give them and the man manager then came around the till and stood really close to us to intimidate us. We asked him to move back and he said I am going to stand here all day. Then he proceeded to tell us to never return. I am absolutely appalled. We felt racially profiled. This should not be happening in 2023! Both of these staff need to be investigated immediately.

I was provided wonderful service by the middle aged lady who was really helpful and patient when I was trying to decide what drink I wanted. The young lady was also very nice and friendly. Will come back again.

I always come to Caffè Nero in house of fraser on my break. I always get my caramel and vanilla ice latte, tuna panini and almond croissant. Staff are very nice and friendly. Even tho they get busy during lunch time, and when they are under pressure they always make sure to give the best quality food.

AVOID this particular cafe Nero at all cost. Just had the worst experience ever with an older lady (dressed scruffy) who claims to be the manager!!. She refused to give her name after I said I wished to make a complaint. She was then joined by another male bald member of staff who acted as though he needed to be her spokesperson and proceeded to be extremely rude to me. They have a very appalling mannerism and their customer service was abhorrent

As the other low reviews have mentioned, the middle aged woman (seems like the manager) does have a poor attitude when it comes to customer service, seems to not like when you have a discount voucher and acts like a jobsworth telling you what you can and can’t do with it. I usually take a screenshot of the QR code as the internet is not great when loading the reward app, she mentioned the screenshot QR can be refused at her discretion, like I was doing something wrong or trying to do something deceptive. I’ve always done it this way multiple times without being questioned and once scanned it automatically marks as used in the app when I later check it. She doesn’t like when you question her back as she has that ‘always right’ kind of mentality. In contrast the young guy who works there is really friendly and lovely, I will only go back whenever he’s working there.
