A regular haunt for me, it was my friends first visit & 1st jerk chicken. I had the brown chicken, it was tasty with plenty of tender chicken pieces. We had 2 cocktails, the1st, which was very colourful, was a little sweet for us, but the zombie went down very well. The service was friendly, attentive without being intrusive, as it was a late lunch it was quite quiet, the background music loud enough to hear properly, but didn't interrupt the conversation.

SiamTown

Cosy, friendly restaurant with good vegan and vegetarian options. It’s a great bonus too that you can bring your own wine - making a visit here an affordable treat.

Slug & Lettuce - Croydon

I had a fantastic time at the restobar! The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was just right for a great evening out. I'll definitely be returning for another enjoyable dining experience.

Green Dragon Croydon

The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Pool table. Unusual basement toilets. Probably not a place for the less physically able. Otherwise excellent. There is also a food menu.

The Cricketers

Finally got time to try here on a wet and windy night. The warm, friendly welcome from Aisha(?) more than made up for the lousy weather. A lovely rum and coke was served up in a good sized glass. My mate was happy with his bottled cider. It was a karaoke night and the good humoured drinkers joined in with gusto. In the near future there will be food of an evening.Cosy ambience. Wood panelling that's not dark adds to the cosiness. Good window bay seats with cushions. Overall a very good experience and will be back in the near future and perhaps give the food a try. Well done all involved.

The Med Kitchen

Second visit to this lovely restaurant, this time for a birthday meal. The restaurant is gorgeous with a good atmosphere, service is excellent, menu choice and food is amazing. Took a cake and balloons which was bought out for dessert accompanied by happy birthday music really lovely evening ??? Highly recommend for a date, dinner or lunch with family or friends.

Mithras Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant

Every time I come to this restaurant is as amazing as the first. I look forward to every celebration with my family because I know we are going to ‘Mithras’. A beautiful venue in the heart of Croydon bringing amazing Turkish flavours to our streets. Very good pricing for the outstanding flavours of the food, with each bite better than the last. Even though I have just left I simply cannot wait until I get the chance to come back.Beautiful food. Lovely staff. Amazing venue.Would highly highly recommend a visit here 10/10 every time

Bao Bao Taiwanese Street Food

Honestly, the best bubble tea shop in Croydon. There's a wide selection of flavours for both milky and fruity bubble tea, aswell as an option to have your drink hot for colder days. Their drinks have the most flavour as other bubble tea shops tend to water their drinks down too much. I reccomend trying taro and grapefruit.

Can't find the management email address but Gill/Jill (don't know the spelling!) was working on Sunday evening & a stranger acted a little strangely towards me - she came over & told me that if I was uncomfortable then to tell her & she would deal with it. Really appreciated her care after a long day & always enjoy a place that looks after their customers.I've been here often & not had an issue with strangers like this so it's good to know that on one-off situations the staff are trained on how to help

I takeaway a vegetable roll and it's fantabulously tasty and extremely fulfilling for the 6£ pricing. Will definitely recommend and the store is also very good for having in.

I paid a visit with my daughter and partner when I visited them last weekend. Lovely venue for everything games from boxes! We were greeted straight away as we arrived, asked if we had visited before.. He gave us a comprehensive run down in terms of ordering refreshments; and how the games are organised relative of difficulty. There were loads of games I've not seen before. We had a fun time!!

We were early meeting friends for a train from East Croydon and so popped in here for a swift drink. Was pleasantly surprised by lovely amicable staff and a variety of beers plus a good atmosphere. Did not eat here, but food looked lovely coming out from the kitchen. Will make sure I am early for trains more often in the future to enjoy a couple of drinks and a bite to eat here!

Basil & Grape

We ate here with the whole volleyball team and we absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, cosy atmosphere and friendly service. We had issues with the accommodation and they let us stay until close meanwhile we were sorting it out. Great experience all around!

Good quality and taste was amazing. However, if you are lucky they serve you food in 60-90 mins. It’s all depend if you are their priority customer or not. If they have reservation for big group please do not go and get angry on service. They are really struggling with staff and don’t know how to handle multiple customers.The guy on a front desk was struggling with basic English- not very well managed.Although the food was really good but I will not recommend it.

New to the area,Came here as was the only place open late,What a great spontaneous evening,I was expecting a club but when I went in it was a spontaneous amazing unexpected experience.There was inside pool, connect 4, table tennis, punching machine, ball pit, dance floor, DJ, music there was plenty to do, 2 bars.The BAR staff was so nice and good didn’t have to wait long everyone knew what they was doing not mention how great the cocktails are.Not to mention how great the SECURITY WOMAN WAS, she knew what she was doing and knew her job really well never meet a security woman like her. We booked a table last minute an hour before closing time and we thought the pizza was superb and ambience was really nice. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much, we also met the owner who was welcoming and friendly. Don't pass by this lovely restaurant. Will return.

Went yesterday on 14th June around 1:40ish and the ladies serving behind the tills and the food counter went above and beyond. Very friendly, helpful and a great example on providing brilliant customer service.

Decent garage. Service is good and the staff are very friendly. Has a Select store and also a good car wash area with pressure washer. Tyre inflation. Usual petrol station prices for food. Does not get too busy. Only the petrol prices at the moment are the issue ⛽

This was, until 7 years ago, my local chippy - I grew up here and my family got food, both fish/chips and chinese at least a few times a month. I haven't been in a while as I've moved away, but I've ALWAYS had great service here. It's cheap but the portions are amazing. I try to get something every time I go down to New Addington.

Nice food and lovely staff when dining in. When I ordered for takeaway the food was still fresh and nice, however I ordered a kids portion size aswell as an adult size and the adult portion was almost the same amount as the kids option! Considering the adult's is twice the price of the kid's it was quite disappointing. Overall great food though.

Simply the best fish and chips for miles around! Fresh, tasty fish in a delicate (non-greasy) batter, perfectly cooked chips. Service was brilliant: friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient.Definitely go there but make sure you get there early as it is VERY popular!

Abshar Restaurant (Croydon)

The restaurant has improved massively. Tender and succulent meat. Perfectly grilled and presented. The spinach stew was amazing, great depth spiked with fenugreek and fresh parsley.The only thing to be improved is if bread could be provided with starters as is norm in most Turkish restaurants.The service was wonderful, prompt and professional.Dietary restrictions: Halal

Celebrated my Dad's 70th birthday here last night, with 20 of us including kids & a baby. Nothing was too much trouble, the service was impeccable and food delicious.They even gave us a separate table to display his birthday cake and balloon bouquets.Thank you so much for making my Dad's evening feel so special!

Five Guys Croydon

I love five guys, the food is always excellent, but the location of this neighborhood is a little dangerous! We had problems with people coming just to make a mess. Even though the security guard had people with him, they managed to disturb some of the food on the table and cause discomfort to customers.

BOXPARK Croydon

Very cool place. But the second pool table needs charging and the pool cues need new tips... and better lighting (red lights make the yellow and white balls nearly indistinguishable;) Other than that I love the place.

We love Sangri, the staff are fabulous and welcome us with open arms every time the food is always sensational and the service is personable and friendly. There is so much competition locally, but the Sangri rises above them all, every time.

Good jerk chicken spot. Ordered large jerk chicken and rice n peas and wife had a small.rixe with vegetable patty and it was really good. Chicken was dripping off the bone and full of flavour. A must try place in Croydon. My family’s favorite restaurant for Indian food. Excellent varieties of choices, delicious in taste and as always amazing customer service. Went for dinner on Tuesday the customer service person Divya went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Her service is top notch and made sure everything was right. Her food suggestions were fantastic and everything was very tasty. Her serving method was very impressed with customer. I loved eating here. I had the bangers and mash. It was a FULL PLATE!! It tasted homemade. My standout moment was the Guinness gravy. My partner had the burger and he said it was gooooood. Great chips, too!The music was a little loud where we were sitting, but nothing unbearable. The venue is really nice and the staff are kind. I like the different seating options!!

I visit regularly,So I thought I'll invite a few a my Taxi driver friends to try this fantastic place out. Wel! they were very impressed with how fresh and tasty the food is, We didn't wait long and there was nothing left on the plates. We ordered breakfasts, burgers and chicken dishes. Unfortunately we was enjoying it so much we forgot to take photos but rest assured Shirley Cafe is worth a visit. We've used capones for many years and have never been disappointed with the food or people. The pizzas have loads of toppings inside and out and always filling when eating. Good deals and fast delivery. Loyalty card is a bonus, and we are filling up another soon which means even better deals. ?Parking: Free parking right outside shop.

Cafe Dino

I have walked past Cafe Dino so many times this time I went in and I was so glad I did. From the outside it looks really small but it is really big inside.First impressions it was beautifully clean and really tastefully decorated. We sat down and a member of staff brought us the menus. There were so many options from traditional English breakfasts to Mediterranean breakfasts and you can even create your own. We all had a chefs special and asked if we could add halloumi to it as well and that wasn't a problem. You get Tea or coffee with it and 2 slices of toast or bread. Really good value and when it came out it was amazing no greasy food and the coffee was so nice! They also do meals that bare not breakfasts and other people order the sandwiches and they looked gorgeous and the milkshakes were all being made fresh too. The staff were super friendly and I will definitely go back. If you anywhere near give it a visit you won't be disappointed ?

Been here a few times now and the food is amazing 10/10 I ordered a chicken Shish with Nan and I already got a nan and then I got given 3 more I was stuffed when I was fished and then I was about to get 2 more!! I was too full to eat any more even though the nans are amazing. The meat is also really juicy, tender and seasoned well. Highly recommend this place
