I ended up at Dosa Kada early evening on a Saturday while searching for something to eat. I was shown to a table promptly and Shouti - who served me - was very attentive and helped with navigating the menu choices. The food came quickly and was tasty. I would definitely go again.

We went here on January 2nd 2024 after I took my stepson to Croydon for a haircut. Both of us like Dosa's as he has family in South India. The two dosa;s we had were reanny tasted, he had the ghee dosa and I had the mysore massala and we shared some paratha and a bowl of spicy noodles were very tasty ineed. Our waitress Shruti made us feel very welcome and she was very attentive. Next time we go there we will also try the sugar cane juice.

Raman and Indu were great stewards.Food was very good. We ordered 2 servings of Vanilla milk shake. 6 Parottas, 1 pepper chicken, and 1 kadai paneer. Background instrumental music brought back several memories. We miss India and Hyderabad specially.Must visit!

@shruti @raman - Very much focused towards the customer. They do their best to take the orders and serve the customers as quickly as possible. I wish both of them for their efforts, hard work and their kind co-operation towards the customer. Hope that they get success and rewards for all their efforts.

For all Surrey Indians If you are craving for some good and tasty Dosa and hot Biryani with a soothing music then we would recommend this place. @Raman,@Navneet, @Shruthi - thank you for their hospitality and service. The dish in the picture is Dindigul chicken Biryani. And we liked the Mysore masala dosa.

I initially gave a 5-star rating, but I'm now changing it to a 1-star rating. I'm uncertain about what changed at the restaurant, but the taste of the food has significantly worsened. Despite ordering multiple times recently, the flavor is not up to the mark. Even the minimum amount of salt is not added as required.

In Croydon town, a gem does stand, "Chennai Dosa," oh, it's quite grand! Traditional dosas, crisp and neat, A taste so authentic, truly a treat. The waiter's smile, as wide as the sea, Made us feel welcome, as welcome could be. Mushroom 65, a spicy delight, Each bite was perfection, oh, what a sight! For South Indian flavors, rich and true, This spot in Croydon is the place for you. A jewel indeed, in the curry game's fame, Chennai Dosa, you've won our acclaim!

Had a fantastic time at Dosa Kada. The owner and staff are all very kind, respectful and go the extra mile to make sure customers have a very satisfying meal and an incredible service. They were very accommodating to specific health needs. The quality of every item of food (especially Dosa, Biriyani and Pistachio Kulfi) that was ordered was top-notch, extremely delicious and out of this world. I thank God for Dosa Kada, and highly recommend it to anyone, because the food you get here will not be found anywhere else! You won't regret going here :)

As a chef hailing from the southern part of India ,Kongunadu region called Salem, my quest for an authentic South Indian breakfast experience led me to Dosa Kada, and it was nothing short of a culinary journey that left me thoroughly satisfied. The ambiance at Dosa Kada is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. The aroma of freshly ground spices and the sizzle of dosas on the griddle immediately transported me back to the kitchens of my hometown. What sets Dosa Kada apart is their commitment to authenticity. The menu boasts a variety of dosas, each crafted with precision and using high-quality ingredients. The dosas were not only thin and crispy but also filled with a delightful medley of flavors that paid homage to the rich culinary heritage of South India. The staff at Dosa Kada deserves a special mention for their warm hospitality. They were attentive and knowledgeable, helping me navigate through the menu and recommending some hidden gems. It’s evident that the team takes pride in presenting the true essence of South Indian breakfast. One standout combo was Mini Tiffin which contains 1medu vada which was very crispy on & soft in it,1 idli that was like malligai poo (we use to say in back home , which means it so soft & white in colour) small amount of Pongal it melts in your mouth !! 1 mini masala dosa & Accompanied by an array of chutneys and sambar, each bite was a symphony of tastes that brought back memories of home-cooked meals.last but not least a spoon of kesari(sweet).I tried their filter coffee which includes in their mini Tiffin combo , and it was a revelation. The strong, aromatic brew was served in a platter with glass of coffee with 2 Parle G biscuits which gives a memories of a childhood .In conclusion, Dosa Kada is a haven for South Indian breakfast enthusiasts, and as a chef, I appreciate the dedication to preserving the true flavors of the region. If you’re seeking an authentic and delightful start to your day, Dosa Kada is undoubtedly a top choice. My culinary journey through their menu was a memorable one, and I look forward to revisiting this gem of a restaurant.
