I stopped in for breakfast. The food was ok and the fresh orange juice was just as described — nothing particularly special, but no complaints either. The space itself felt quite cold though, as there didn’t seem to be any heating, which made it less comfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. I also couldn’t spot any toilets on site, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, fine for a quick bite, but not the coziest place if you’re looking to linger.

Often come for ‘library lunch’ with our little one, and the grandparents. Friendly service. Options to please everyone and nice community feel. Nice seeing work of local artists on display. It’s a simple cafe that does exactly what you would want and more in the middle of Croydon. It’s always paired with a visit to the children’s library and a run around at the Queens Gardens park
