We had our daughter's 18th birthday at Golden Inn last night. The staff were so friendly and very attentive! The food was yummy ? and came out in good time!We all had an extremely enjoyable evening. Thank you for a truly unforgettable party for our daughter and her friends!!We'll definitely be visiting again soon! ☺️Vegetarian options: Tofu, lots of vegetable options, curries etc...

The food is always very nice but it is never served on warm/hot plates so it goes cold very quickly and becomes unenjoyable! Especially the starters, it ends up being such a waste as we don't want to eat it. For some reason, they warm the plates for the duck course but by the time the duck arrives the plate is cold - pointless! Other restaurants always warm their plates, it makes such a difference.

I have been using this restaurant for about 12 years and it was always a nice buffet, drinks were expensive but the cost of the buffet made up for that after my recent visit the food was good but the price has doubled and add a little more, for the price there are better Chinese restaurants, what a shame, will think twice about coming back, but will miss the buffet

Food was good but we found a very long (human) hair in my sons main course. Server was apologetic and offered to replace the dish. However, when the bill came we were still charged full price for everything AND they added the full 10% service charge. I paid the bill in full but think this really let's them down - nor even a reduction in the service charge- which is discretionary - for a hair in your food.
Great value for family gatherings with eat as much as you want for a fixed price. Remember you are paying a fixed price, so you get good wholesome food to match the price paid with matching levels of service. We have been here a number of times for family birthdays & cannot fault anything about this restaurant, other than the chairs which several of us have struggled with as they caused back aches, but we will still probably be going again at some point.

We had a take away last night, the food was delivered on time.But I ordered 3 dishes, one of them was house special sea food Ho fun. It was very bland and not cooked properly. The squid and scallops were very hard to eat. Not like it was described in the menu. Paid £10 just for 1 dish. Also the container was leaking when it was delivered. Not worth the price. The mushroom & king prawns dish also was not up to standard. Not very happy.

Food is excellent portions are great. Really tasty food. But the service is just terrible The young girl with the fringe is constantly rude and blunt and she has no manners. I think it is a family run business which I am very supportive of but she really needs a course in customer service. From answering the phone to the service in restaurant she is very rude and makes it a very uncomfortable meal when you are there

Had a meal for 8 people, there. Quiet place. Feels atmospheric place, with paintings, Chinese lanterns. Friendly staff. Good quality food, price is ok. We booked for 8pm, one evening; we were the only group there.Thanks.

I actually love their food. The popcorn chicken is so good I have dreams about it, the food is always flavourful . Its super expensive, which I hate, but they also do a buffet for 25 pounds, which I love because they cook the food fresh in manageable portions so there's no waste. I definitely recommend the buffet often. They're pretty nice in-house, and even though it's hurts my wallet, I'll always be a repeat customerWheelchair accessibility: Small doors so probably not suitable for a wheelchair user
