The food was pretty good, though it wasn't as authentic as the food in India but still fills your craving for Indian food! The food was hot, not that spicy and really nice ??Vegetarian options: There were a variety of veg options and they were clearly labelled, so I'd recommend this for Vegetarians

Went back to this place after a long time and was pleasantly impressed with the food esp the starters. Chili Paneer / Chili Fish / Maru Bhajias / Prawns. All these were to my spicy taste. If you don’t like spicy I suggest you let them know. Was not happy with the Dosa, was expecting a crispy Dosa but had a soft one, not happy with that. Will still go back for starters and may try other main.

Wowsers. Totally won the lottery with this place!! The vada was perfectly cooked, paper dosa crispy and full of flavour, and masala dosa absolutely spot on. Not to mention the heat, depth of flavour, and absolute freshness of the sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney were world class. If I could, I’d give this place an 11/10!

For my recent housewarming party, I decided to entrust the catering to Navaratna known for its authentic and flavorful dishes. And let me tell you, Navaratna food was nothing short of exceptional. It was as if I had invited my grandmother to cook for me, bringing a taste of home to my new abode. The quantity of food was more than generous, ensuring that every guest had their fill. And the quality was simply outstanding, each dish reflecting the passion and expertise of the restaurant's chefs. If you're looking for a catering service that can transport your guests to the vibrant culinary landscape of South India, I highly recommend Navaratna. Their food is a testament to their passion for authentic flavors and their commitment to providing an unforgettable dining experience. :-)Special note - Bisibelebath *****Must Try*****Vegetarian options: Bisibelebath, tamarind rice, temple style sweet pongal , soft and crispy medu vada, veg biryani, coconut rice, Roti, Channa masala and curd rice.Kid-friendliness: All of the above food was not spicy and my kids enjoyed too.

Excellent as per the reviews. This is proper South Indian food with great dosa, vada, incredible bread and fabulous mushroom rice. A testament to how good this place must be, is the presence of many Indian families dining there. Highly recommended.

I have been wanting some South Indian food for several years now and noticed this little gem on South End, Croydon.Mustered the troops and headed down on a Saturday night, early on, it must be noted.Great food and authentic as I have spent several months in South India.Definitely will return!Vegetarian options: Excellent in all ways, even though I'm not a veggie at present!

Brilliant experience. The service and food was great. The restaurant has good ambience. Excellent hospitality by CHEF, Padedi who served us nicely with a set of good curries and breads and nice house wine... will come again.
