A friend and I came here for the first time recently and were really impressed. All of the dishes we had were tasty.
I never order bhajis in restaurants because I often find them too greasy but my friend ordered them here and they were great, crisp and not oily at all.
We ordered the darsha (spicy) and the kalaja koora (more on the sweet, mild side) main dishes and recommend both
The rice portion was smaller than we expected but a minor point for me.
Definitely recommend and will be returning!

Random visit. Street view looked good. Inside decor ok but seating tired and plastic covered chairs delaminating. Place mat had food residue but this quickly changed. Ordered “giant king prawn” curry. (£17.95) Prawns large but not giant but enough meat etc curry sauce unfortunately very bland sauce so little authentic spice flavours. Sag Aloo again looked good but lacked taste and flavour. Popadoms and dips pilau rice ok. Cobra beer and red wine good. Overall disappointing, issues could be easily be fixed but their chef needs to taste his food and concentrate on spicing and improve flavours.

I've eaten at Sangri for many years both in the restaurant and an occasional takeaway. The last 4 times, have been SO disappointing, the food has been like a ready made meal. Tasteless and all the same. I've chosen 4 different delicacies from the signature dishes, all dishes with distinct ingredients textures and flavours. Yet they have been more pr less the same texture, taste and ingrediants. It is quite disgusting. They did not taste anything like the menu or the previous dishes I've enjoyed. They are still charging the same, I paid almost £15 for one curry and rice (just tp provide perspective). I feel like a fool. They are taking advantage of their customers. Really really distasteful in every way. I've tried to be supportive, by going back again and again, hoping it was just a bad day so to speak! I will never eat there again now.

I ordered a takeaway last night for myself and other guests. When the food arrived I was appalled by the portions as were small. I think what’s worse when I rang the restaurant to complain they blamed Deliveroo for their shortcomings. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service and was left without enough food for all of us.
I found the food to be mediocre and bland. My drinks were warm and I need to request to add an ice for both of my drinks. The service was ok and the only I like is the heart design on my plate.

Found this restaurant the first time we were in Croydon visiting family. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It a smallish restaurant made to feel bigger by the large mirrors. The food was excellent, so much so that each time we stay overnight we make sure we stop by for a meal. We are both avid Indian foodies.
