Really nice place with an amazing food. Highly recommends
This has just opened in South Ealing and I absolutely love it. Everything so tasty and fresh. Chicken roll is the best as well as the chaat is amazing. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever eaten in whole of 24 years i been in england. Fresh and you can tell this is cooked with a passion. Well done Tava shop
If you’re craving authentic Indian street food in Croydon, Tava Shop on the High Street is a hidden gem you absolutely must visit. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and enticing aroma of freshly prepared dishes set the tone for a perfect evening.
The menu is packed with delicious Indian snacks, each bursting with flavor and authenticity. I was particularly impressed by their Pani Puri, which had the perfect balance of tangy and spicy. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was a delightful combination of crispiness and savory goodness. I also tried the unique Manchurian Momos, which offered an exciting fusion of Indo-Chinese flavors. For dessert, the Rasmalai Cake was a fantastic surprise—a soft, creamy treat with the right amount of sweetness.
Not only is the food incredibly tasty, but it’s also very pocket-friendly, making it a great spot for a casual evening with friends. Pair your snacks with a cup of hot chai, and you’ve got the perfect setup for a relaxed, cozy hangout.
I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu! If you're in Croydon, do yourself a favor and visit Tava Shop for an authentic Indian street food experience.
It was a good experience with proper Indian street food. The taste was amazing and also the service. As we went there for the first time, the staff even came to us personally to take our feedback about the food and overall service we received. They were very open to feedback and that was a good thing, as that showd they care about customers and they want to improve wherever necessary.
We tried Chole bhature and Pav bhaji. The food was not oily like most other so called “Indian” restaurants in this area. We went during brunch m, so there was no waiting and service was quick.
It was good and cheap. If any indians in uk want to try indian chaat u must try

Vegetarian options: Good choice of Indian food
Wow….I’m so happy and belly so content that we went and tried the food at this place. Everything we’ve ordered was so tasty and we cannot wait to go back for more. So glad that we live close by so we can visit it again as often as we’d like. We enjoyed both the food and drinks and actually ordered more pani puri so that we can finish the mint water. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Excellent food and service!
Vegetarian options: We asked the team to make us butter paneer and they made it happen and it was delicious
