It was a very nice afternoon tea experience. We got this as a present and definitely would buy this myself next time. The food and service were great however the interior needed refurbishment. Two ladies were very attentive and whenever asked for something we didn't wait. Overall good experience. It would be 5 stars but the place needs refurbishment.

The cafe is so run down, from the pealing chairs to the day old cakes being served. My espresso was so bitter, it was undrinkable. Put some love n care into your establishment and maybe you will get more clientele. Dated with zero atmosphere.

Oh dear. First time visitor to this cafe. from the outside it looks lovely and the cakes look fresh, but when we went inThe waitress behind the counter didn’t look interested in serving us at all.I asked if they have decaf tea and she said no. Only decaf coffee . So me and my cousin orders two teas and I ordered the slice of cheesecake and one slice of red velvet cake . £16. So quiet expensive .It was around 3.30- 4pm last Thursday 24/8. It wasn’t busy. Few people in.Anyway, We went to sit down, and Some of the soft bucket chairs were worn out .So we didn’t sit on them . And other chairs had crumbs on them . Whilst we’re having our food a young male waiter dropped dishes as he was clearing the table behind us , the noise was so loud , then he droppedA few more things. Altogether he dropped things three times. the amount of noise was horrendous .And eventually -even we had to compare this calamity to some thing out of Faulty Towers . There was no apology fromThe lady behind the counter.We carried on finishing our tea but I did notice that the Red Velvet cake was a dry. And the tea was loose leaf which did taste nice but left a biter taste .I won’t come here again purely because of the staff . No customer care what so ever

First time Came here yesterday. 24/8/23 It was around 4pm They don’t have decaf tea this very annoying for people who don’t Drink normal tea . Every cafe should have decaf tea . The waitress behind the counter was grumpy and not nice . The young lad waiter kept dropping things. We sat inside to eat. We had two teas which were lose leaf. And We had a dessert each. The red velvet cake was a bit dry. And my cheesecake was ok . I had to make my tea weak as it wasn’t decaf. Whilst we were eating. The young waiter lad dropped two three items and there was lots of loud noice every time he Dropped things. Which ruined out experience there and no apology from staff for the disturbance. I paid £16. Two teas and two desserts Would I come here Again the answer is no . The soft seating chairs were worn out looking. And some chairs were dirty . The toilet also could have done with a tidy up .

The food was amazing and the service was great too. I've read multiple reviews about Christina and her "poor attitude" and I just think that it's not true. Her attitude was pure gold and she was definitely one of the kindest waitresses I've had in a while. The food was very good and the cleanliness was not a problem. I would definitely visit again.

I came by to leave a review and just saw the other posts. I don't know where these comments on Cristina are coming from. When I was there, she was nothing but kind and sweet. I'm not sure what is going on but this is targeted harrassment and it is not ok

Lovely coffee and pain au chocolat. I was a little surprised by the slightly-above-average pricing but the waitress (I believe her name was Christina) who was serving me was wonderful- made up for it!

The waitress, Cristina, was brilliant. She made us feel welcome and made us some really lovely drinks, she apologised for the kitchen being closed, which was a shame, but the service & drinks were overall great
