Don't usually give 5 stars, but it's worth giving. I have known this pub for decades, how it's survived the covid and recession I'll never know. However, I was with friends, and we had a great time catching up while staff service was excellent, and food drinks were outstanding.
Popped in on Mojito Monday!Very good quality drinks and amazing price at £7.50.The outside area is super comfortable and secluded although it's right on the street. Inside the pub is rather special...lots of sumptuous leather seating, a lovely bar and it's spotlessly clean. Service here is fantastic, friendly and efficient. Don't judge this book by its cover, it's surprisingly fab all round.Food is also well priced, a good size and decent quality, definitely coming for another...read full review
