I’ve been going to the wandle for years and I went last night and it was like rediscovering a little gem in our neighborhood – the wandle. From its inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, this pub exceeded my expectations. The cozy interior, adorned with rustic decor, creates the perfect setting for a laid-back evening. Went to the Wandle for a few drinks with friends. Met the new manager who was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. As a regular for many years, the Wandle is in the best shape it’s been in ages! Will definitely be back more frequently!

We walk in for a pint before we continue exploring the area. The smell of the fresh roast dinner make us change our plans. We stayed for Sunday roast and it was 10 out of 10. We all loved our meals. Really good beer and gin selection. Sports on tv and 2 massive screens. Friendly and welcoming staff which they meet our needs. Thank you to Marc, kuami, apologize if the spelling is wrong, and Rossie for the amazing service that they provide us. We will definitely go back again soon.

I would particularly like to commend the staff and management for their help and assistance in retrieving a phone left behind on the premises, after another super night. They just couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again.

Always have a good time here on a Friday and Saturday - recently booked my birthday in the outside area which was great - we were warm under the heater! The live music was great, we loved all the tunes and it got everyone dancing . Excellent communication with Lia who helped me book the area - thank you very much!!

Had an awesome experience during the very busy World Cup Final - the seating outside well managed! Huge thumbs up to Lia for running the outdoors bar (life saver - no ways we would have gotten inside) wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun without her service and friendly smile!

Absolutely the worst pub food I’ve ever had. Surprised as it’s greene king and have had the same menu at other pubs and enjoyed. These buffalo loaded fries were £6 for this rubbish and this is after we sent them back! Came out cold, other dishes ordered and forgotten.

A local haunt but always great fun - live music and good for sport! The garden always gets busy especially as it’s covered for winter. Patrick behind the bar can never do enough to make sure you have a great time whatever the occasion and is quite possibly the biggest asset this place has. He is always full of smiles and works so hard to ensure everyone leaves the pub smiling too. Management would do well to keep hold of him as staff turnover can be high and that results in slow service at busy times which would be my only gripe!

Just moved to the area and went for a drink only, bar service was fine, but whole place feels grubby. Dirty, sticky tables outside. Did not want to try the food. The worst thing is the state of the pavement directly outside the pub where customers have left discarded drinks and vomitted, yet the pub does not clear this up. People living close by have to to walk past this disgusting mess made by your customers everyday. I've seen the pubs further up the road hose wash down outside and take pride in the appearance and first impression, sadly not the case here.
The pub is large with plenty of seating including outdoor seating. The table are not so clean very sticky and dirty. We (3 of us) came to Sunday lunch. We ordered fish and chips, beef roast and burger. The fish was very oily and the chips were old (refried) so i couldn’t eat them. The beef roasted was poor quality.
