“Limited choice on menu, my first choice starter had run out so I needed to pick an alternative which I wasn't very keen on. Had a burger for main which was nice but not very large portion.We went on quiz night which was fun. Nice old pub which us laid out on split levels and quite quirky. Car park available for patrons and some scattered outdoor seating to enjoy the balmy summer evenings.”

“It’s a nice pub, good for watching football, although food is fabulous the wait is a bit much for me, normally 45 mins, if you don’t mind waiting it’s fine I guess, but sometimes I only want to visit for an hour and I’m hungry !”

“Pop in for a pint now and then. Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. A special mention goes to Dave the barman, he is always on top of his game and an all-around great guy!”

“It was a great evening. However, the staff was not really friendly nor accommodating. They collected money for a raffle which never drawn. Around 9 pm, they told us they would be shutting the garden, and we must enter the building, which was like a bakery without the aircon. I'm not sure why they couldn't specify the reason why they close the garden so early given the fact scorching temperature. Then the staff informs the kitchen is closed. Comes near 11pm, the pub lights go off to indicate that they were shutting. What's going on these days?Crown and Horse shoe was one of my favourite places to have a drink and chill with my mates. I'm not so sure now. May be the management need to re think their strategy in customer service.”

“Went here for the first time for a friend's birthday party. Had a great time, therefore would come back.”

“This is a real hidden gem in Enfield. The team organised a 40th birthday party for almost 150 guests in the outside garden and it couldn't have gone any better. The food was amazing (a hog roast), the location was great and the kids (of which there were over 30) had a wonderful time with games and their own food choices. The staff were excellent and really helpful. Elizabeth in particular was fantastic in preparing the event to suit all of our needs. We would definitely recommend.”

“Was my birthday lunch. We all love to come to the Oneills in Enfield Town regularly as the food is overly and hot and fresh and the staff are so very helpful. On this occasion Bobbi and Chayla.. They gave my 3yr old grandaughter pens and paper to colour. The portion size is ample for lunch and clean and tidy surroundings. thank you girls ....”
