Been to this pub a few times on a Friday evening while the little one is at Guides.All the staff I've spoken to have been really nice and down to earth.There is normally a good amount of people here but there is plenty of tables and an outdoor smoking area.Good selection of beers, wines and spirits at typical prices for the area.There is often something happening on the weekend evenings, be it a band, quiz etc.The only thing that I'd like to see is the pub pulled into 2023. Very friendly pub, you're made to feel welcome on arrival. They have live music most weekends on either a Friday or Saturday night and vinyls every Sunday. Since originally writing this review, I've now found out there is a general quiz night (followed by play your cards right) every other Thursday and a music quiz first Tuesday of the month. Excellent pub. Spacious, comfortable with beautiful decor and nice range of beers. Excellent customer service, you feel really welcome. Spotless toilets and interior. Fantastic! Plus good deal: happy hour from Monday to Friday and quiz night. TV available for sports enthusiasts. Outside area for smokers.
