Had a great family Sunday lunch to celebrate Mother's Day. Kind attentive and welcoming staff. And for anyone with a food allergy, you can check ingredients on Glass Onion.

My local so I'm biased. Friendly, gastro pub.Parking: Park in Tewkesbury Terrace for free.Kid-friendliness: Always lots of yummy mummies and daddies.Wheelchair accessibility: Step-free access. I've seen wheelchair users here. Accessible toilet on ground floor too.

We came here for a 30th birthday celebration, I ordered food off the lunch menu and was unhappy with the scotch egg, it didn't look right so I asked the waitress to take it back, she did so whilst rolling her eyes and then returned to ask if I wanted to choose something else, I said yes but I no longer had a menu. She went away and came back with a menu which she threw at me whilst saying "Jesus Christ" I in turn told her she was extremely rude and that I no longer wanted anything else and to take everything away and give me a refund as I no longer had an appetite due to now being upset and angry by her lack of manners and aggressive nature. I then went and spoke to Dan the manager, who agreed to refund me for my meals. When I commented about how pubs are struggling to stay afloat nowadays, having rude staff does not help, £50 is a lot of money to lose from a customer. Dan replied "you've made your point so you can stop going on about it now" The fact that we had travelled from Warwickshire to London and received this kind of service is appalling, I am surprised anybody would want to frequent an establishment with such rude and obnoxious staff members. Its a shame the area is unknown to me, and there was such a big party of us there to celebrate, otherwise I would have been suggesting a move to somewhere else, with friendlier staff and better customer service.

The food was great, and considering we were a large party , excellent and the staff were fantastic! Timing of the food of the food was a little off but I would let that detract from the evening and an overall great experience.

A bit late to review but I must congratulate The Ranelagh on providing a wonderful Christmas Lunch We thought £80 a head was going to give us a decent meal , having dined at The Ranelagh on a few occassions , but being Christmas Day we were concerned that we may end up with precooked , reheated , slightly dry food ... instead the (pre orderd) three courses were totally delicious , freshly cooked and moist. We took my 91 year old mother along , a woman known to compain and send food back at most places she eats , and she was thrilled with all the fayre put in front of her , even insisting on a 'doggie bag' so she could have the leftovers for her supper I will never know how the staff managed to be just so helpful and pleasent when the restaurant was fully booked and , with us eating a little later , meaning they were probably 4 hours into their shift by the time we arrived . We were all very impressed and ensured we left a tip as they couldn't do enough for us , and every other diner there. With all the hastle of cooking Cristmas Lunch at home we've decided to make The Ranelagh a regular fixture Oh and I forgot to say that my stepdaughter has to have a very strict coeliac diet and the kitchen could not have been more reassuring and helpful to ensure no cross contamination occured so she could enjoy her lunch withour concern .

Popped in for a few drinks after work on Thursday. It’s always a nice spot for drinks and the barman on duty on Thursday was great. Greeted everyone as they came in and made everyone feel welcome. Well done.
