Visited here as it’s next to the Tower of London (and cheaper than eating in the tower) and just had a black tea and bacon bap. The service was excellent, bacon roll Cooked perfectly and it was so nice to have the tea in an actual teapot! Great view of the tower and able to sit outside too!

Called in here about 9.00 on a Sunday morning before our tour of the Tower of London. There were 2 staff working and about 6 or 7 customers in front of us. It appears that the staff were not clued in. They were very slow. A couple in front of us left the shop without ordering. I ordered a coffee and had to ask twice for milk. I then had to remind one of the staff that I has a toasted sandwich in the toaster.

Standard Costa menu and, as it’s next to Tower of London it was extremely busy. Tables were dirty and you had to clear your own but the staff were working as hard as they possibly could so I can’t fault them. It looked like work was ongoing outside and if it results in an outdoor seating area I think it will make a huge difference.

Although the Tower of London is in a popular place, this particular Costa is a little hidden in terms of it's prominence and entrance, so we often find it's not that busy. This is a plus for us! It's perched in an elevated position as a glass box and overlooks this fabulous part of London, including the Tower and the Thames. There is also a narrow outside terrace which is great in nice weather. The coffee is up to standard. A great Costa!

This place, next to the Tower of London is a disgrace. Others have commented on tatty, worn furnishings. It is also filthy. We saw an operative wiping table debris straight onto the floor. Apparently, they feel it’s OK for customers to tread in rubbish and scraps of food. By any measure, this place is awful. If this is how Front of House is presented, I dread to think of basic hygiene in food prep areas. The toilet is grim. Best advice is go elsewhere where the owners care about health, safety and presentation.

This Costa is very convenient for the Tower with good views through the huge windows. We had coffee and sandwiches which were very nice but the place is really dirty with used cups and other detritus everywhere. Also their outdoor terrace has loads of rubbish on it. I don't think they have enough staff but it isn't acceptable.

The place was filthy. Dirty cups & plates on most of the tables - staff totally disinterested in clearing, preferring to chat behind the counter making absolutely no attempt to clear the tables. Floor was strewn with discarded bits of food & seat coverings were run down and in some cases ripped. If you are looking for a coffee, definately give this place a miss.

I visited the Tower Hill branch on 7th April 2022. I have noticed on several occasions that the long sofa as you walk in is badly torn and its very unhygienic to sit on .it's not been repaired for over two years. The management just don't care. It needs to be completely repaired. Area management should come down and see it for themselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

First visit into London for two years. First stop coffee - Costa always my preference. This Costa has friendly staff, good view of tower of London and great coffee. Door open which was great to see - ensuring an air flow. Would recommend.

It's a lovely busy place. I just wished the most cosy seats and sofas weren't occupied by only one person with laptop, obviously they were working. But it left me, my partner and baby left to sit on the harder and less comfy chairs.\\nStaff is nice and quite fast.\\nThey do run out of cream occasionally or milk supplements.\\nWe still like to go there and chill time to time :)

Great coffee, good staff and nice atmosphere. All the opposite for the manager/supervisor ( She has black hair), she complains out loud about people staying in the shop with their laptop to make them feel uncomfortable. Maybe she wanted to be liked by the old people that she was talking with, or just frustrated with her job or even worst not happy with her job that she needs to complain about people making a living with their well paid IT skills.\\nI'm a customer and i spend 6 pounds every day here as i like to work somewhere different than my home ( it helps me to be more focused), but i can't stand to feel like a weight when i spend here a lot every month and i'm actually supporting the business with my small purchases everyday

This is quite possibly the worst Costa I have ever been to. I would give zero stars if that were an option.\\nThree young woman behind the counter. Chatting. Taking nearly 15 minutes to make 2 hot chocolate drinks. And getting one wrong.\\nEvery table is dirty, filled with plates and cups, napkins, food, spillages etc. Both inside and out. From many customers. People having to move crockery and rubbish aside to sit down. The place isn't even full, so cannot use the busy excuse, because it isn't.\\nI cancelled my order in the end, asked for a refund, which took all three women to do it because they couldn't figure it out.\\nI suggested instead of standing about nattering, maybe they could clear and clean the tables. Outside, where the tables are, there should be a bin, so those plastic coated cups and food wrappers, that are not cleaned up from the tables, don't pollute the nearby river and the pavements.\\nWith so much competition in Greenwich I am surprised this Costa is so shabby, dirty and ill managed. Not to mention it's down at the 'posh' end. The Waitrose end.\\nDisgraceful. Don't go there.\\nUse instead, one of the friendly, clean, family run places, which are probably the same price or in some instances, cheaper.\\nOr even one of Costa's competitors, of which there are many within a minutes walk.

All Costa coffee shops are nice. It's always a treat when I'm over in England to visit. Good selection of beverages, good prices and always friendly staff.
