Love this branch, it’s my local and I love getting my weekly latte from here. Staff is always friendly and efficient and they serve each drink with a smile which means a lot and comes highly appreciated.

Worest branch I have ever been to. No napkins no cup holders just extra cups to place over one another. Even the order was waaaay tooo bad, we ordered 2 white mocha it was plain dark bitter mocha with no hot chocolate and although we stated we want it extra hot it wasn’t.Even the coffee shots glasses were misused with an espresso shot cartoon cup that looked like it has been used for the whole day.Definitely a very bad experience we returned back but it was already closed.Would recommend Leicester Square’s or king’s cross station’s cafe nero.

What lets this place down is that the toilet is really dirty. I complained to the head office but nothing has been done, & a 2nd email was returned unread! Everything else is good, a really nice cafe.

I’m a regular here and usually like this location. The staff are mostly friendly and it has a cozy vibe. You can sit by the window and overlook Finchley Road. Unfortunately today I had a bad experience with Georgia who was training new baristas. I scanned my Nero app to pay and was shown on my app that the payment went through. Apparently it hadn’t gone through on the till so Georgia made me show her proof of payment on my app and on my credit card statement but then argued with me that the payment was shown as pending in my Amex app, which it always is as it takes a few days for the merchant to claim the transaction. When I said that I wasn’t willing to swipe my card again and be charged double she made a rather rude comment “the payment hasn’t gone through on our end, so you’ll just walk away with a free coffee” and insisted I swipe my app again. She did give me a receipt noting that if I was indeed charged twice they would give me a refund on my next visit, however I am rather disappointed by customer service. You would think that staff would care less about a potentially free £3.55 coffee than losing a regular customer. I will not be a regular anymore at this location.

I am not usually the type to leave bad reviews but I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the customer service I received at your Finchley Road branch on 31/10/23. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention as a loyal customer who has had numerous positive experiences at your establishment in the past.During my visit, I encountered a series of unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from one of your Trainee baristas while she serving me. Despite my polite request for a whole milk immediately after making the payment, the barista responded with a dismissive and rude attitude stating “Next time tell me before”, to which I responded, “You never asked my milk preference”.She then responded saying, “I don’t have to ask you, you have to tell me” which I found very rude. And she was mumbling in her mouth and then said again that she doesn’t have to ask me! She then walked away. She really lacked the basic communication skills & customer service. She had no manners whatsoever - I wonder how she even got the job with the attitude of hers. (To give you an idea who she was, as she refused to give her name. She was a 5ft Asian women, with trainee written at the back)Furthermore, when I asked for her name to address the issue and seek appropriate resolution, she refused to provide it. This lack of accountability and transparency is highly concerning, especially considering she is identified as a trainee. As a customer, I expect a higher level of professionalism and customer service from your staff. I could see that she had trainee written on the back of her shirt so for someone who’s still getting trained, she could be at least polite while speaking to clients. The barista's response was not only unhelpful but also displayed a lack of empathy and understanding towards customers. This interaction left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a patron of your coffee shop.I also requested to speak with a manager, but was informed that there was no management in store. Additionally, when I asked another employee for their colleague's name, they also refused to provide it, by adding it’s her last shift. This lack of cooperation and transparency further exacerbated my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.I strongly believe that such behavior is unacceptable and does not align with the values and standards of your coffee shop. As a result, I have decided to share my experience with others to ensure they are aware of the poor customer service they may encounter at your establishment.I kindly request that you address this matter promptly and take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I value the quality of your products and the overall ambiance of your coffee shop, but it is crucial that you prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure a positive experience for all patrons.I understand that mistakes can happen, but it is crucial for your staff to handle such situations with grace and professionalism. I kindly request that you address this matter with the barista involved and take appropriate steps to ensure that all your staff members are trained to provide exceptional customer service.I have been a loyal customer of your coffee shop for quite some time, and I genuinely enjoy the quality of your products. However, this recent experience has left me questioning whether I should continue to support your establishment.I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the overall customer experience at your coffee shop. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the steps you plan to take to address this issue.Sincerely,Maimoona Maqsood

I didn’t drink or eat here but me and my girlfriend were visiting london for our anniversary and got stuck carrying a few heavy bags whilst our bus was delayed, we arrived in Finchley and hung around a few cafes and asked if they could possibly store our bags around the counter, it’s a big ask and everyone said no. We were about to give up but we thought we’d try our luck here and the lovely baristas were so accommodating and let us keep our bags there until they closed. They were very kind and helpful, it allowed us to spend our last few hours in london bag free

This is a lovely little coffee shop with an outside seating area. If you go there regularly the staff get up know you and will prepare your coffee / tea etc without you asking first. Generally a good atmosphere and some of the staff are really friendly. Great place to just sit and chat.
