Family Dosa you ask? Havingy family together and enjoying this delicious food with such great flavour and surrounded by happy dinners that also discovered this gem of a place. The food is explained and options given. So much to choose we can stay here for hours enjoying the great atmosphere and with great service by the staff. Our Dosa was crispy crispy crisp and so well accompanied! We eat to full satisfaction and there was plenty left! Best of all, we got to celebrate family with family Dosa amongst other things. Next time I'll order falooda in all flavours.

The two of us ordered the Mix Kebab, Qabili Palow, and Mantoo. The highlights for me were the lamb chops from the Mix Kebab and the Mantoo. The Qabili Palow came with a generous lamb shank and a side of lentils, and the portion was quite large. Altogether, we spent just under £50, but the food was easily enough for three people.

I’ll be coming back again for the Mantoo and to try the rest of the menu :D

I am speechless. This restaurant really is a gem in Kenton. I have been to many Indian and Pakistani restaurants but never have I tasted a 5 star menu along with 5 star presentation and 5 star service in a setting that is 5 star with an unbelievable interior and decor. The Mehmaan Nawazi (Hospitality) is truly commendable from my Afghani brothers. The kitchen and chef I requested to meet were humble and professional. I don’t have enough words to describe the fusion of food and tradition mixed with a modern feel yet in a western location. And the prices? For the portions? You would be hard pressed to find that in other desi type restaurants. Excellent place all round.

The food was really good. However, what we did not like was hot foods being served in plastic utensils. We were served steaming hot bonda soup in use and throw paper bowls/plastic bowls, even hot dosas and hot sambars are being served in plastic plates. Me and my partner have been ordering takeaway from Shobha’s for a year now, it’s our favourite place to get food in Harrow area, and we finally decided to visit the restaurant in person for a night out. We weren’t disappointed by any means. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere felt authentic and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly but not overbearing. Atmosphere is definitely relaxed, which for us was what we were after, however if you were wanting a quick in-and-out bite you might be better off somewhere else. However it’s absolutely worth it to sample the spectacular food, and if you can’t make it to the restaurant, you can’t miss ordering Shobha’s on takeout!

A fantastic impressive restaurant with great decor , good variety of tasty food at reasonable prices and large portions served in clean good quality dishes. The customer service with a satisfying smile was very good with lots of well trained professional staff to attend to every need and ensure the order for our group of 14 was timely and correct.
