Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK)
331 W End Ln, LondonThe OG GBK has still got it.
Tried the smashed classic (triple) and it was mighty fine. They swapped out american cheese for cheddar at my request and it wasn't a problem. And, adding bacon tóok it to the next level.
Paired with chunky chips, onion rings and some coleslaw it was a great feed for 2.
For old times sake I was compelled to have a chocolate shake - and it was as good as I remembered (I think I first went to this store back in '07!)
[My favourite burger from yesteryear was sadly no longer on the menu - chicken, cranberry and camembert]
Service was great - friendly and timely without being intrusive.
Really enjoyed a culinary trip down memory lane

Costa Coffee
73 Kilburn High Rd, North Maida Vale, LondonOther than no internet service, this place is a home run! Great service in a small storefront with seating inside and out. The coffee is so good, weather you getting a latte or a cappuccino or americano you will not go without, friendly service and very clean. This is a chain but I couldn't tell you how big. The only suggestion I have is be aware of your surroundings, things can disappear very quickly, they have no camera system in the outside so watch out! So they also sell pastries and heated items. They really try harder. So go enjoy a cup of coffee!

Your mum’s kitchen
17 Goldhurst Terrace, South Hampstead, LondonAbsolutely delicious and flavourful lunch on a cold day. I had the ramen. It came with egg and you could add whatever topping you want! I chose veg dumplings, rice cake and fried tofu. The dumplings were flavourful and sweet, the rice cakes soft and chewy, and the tofu soaked up all the delicious flavour and spice. My partner had the spicy squid with sticky rice, super generous in portion size, lovely vegetables. He had plum honey tea and i had yuzu honey tea. Luckily you can buy jars of it upstairs once you've got hooked on the stuff!

W End Ln, LondonThis is the Overground Station. The Underground Station is across the road and 50 metres to the right. The national rail Thameslink station is around the corner, 100 metres away to the left. The Overground runs from here every six minutes east to Stratford and West to the transport hub at Willesden Junction, 10 mins away, stay on the train for Shepherds Bush, Chelsea and Clapham or Richmond. There are lifts here and really efficient, friendly and helpful members of staff that will assist you in your journey. Use a bank card to pay for journeys if remaining in the London area. That’s best value

Costa coffee
176 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 4JD, KilburnEvery time I go in this branch, I feel so welcomed by the staff. No matter how busy it is, I never wait more than 5 minutes for my coffee! The Algerian lady that works there makes the best cortados and lattes. Other staff are good too. If you love Costa don’t go to the one on the bottom of the high road opposite primark! They are the worse!!!

Chicken Cottage
365 Kilburn High Rd, Brondesbury, LondonChicken cottage is a staple and great fried chicken shop on the high road. Inexpensive and always fresh in my experience. Great location as it's perfect for leaving the train and sitting down with a hot cheaper meal than the party farty cafe's when you're hungry after a long journey but don't want to break the bank.

Subway
Ground Floor, 171 Kilburn High Rd, North Maida Vale, LondonThis place was GREAT. I came to the restaurant at an early time so there not a lot of people, however the worker than worked there was incredibly nice and we had a very nice conversation and she was very positive. When I came time for me to pay for the sub she gave me half price and when I tried to give her a tip she respectfully declined.Moving on to the food I ordered a foot long chicken tikka and it was awesome I highly recommend this place and I will 100% come back again.

McDonald's
127, 129 Kilburn High Rd, North Maida Vale, LondonDropped in with wife and daughter for a Mcflurry each. On a got day like yesterday 35°c, what a relief that hadn't turned the ice-cream machine off. The ToffeeCrisp McF was I must admit very disappointing. The Smarties one was lovely though.

Papa Johns Pizza
177 W End Ln, LondonRated way down because after being served on the till, the server was observed returning immediately to kneading pizza dough for an order without first washing hands OR donning gloves which is disgusting!?... ?
Luckily, only bought some of their #Banging Garlic Butter Sauce dip and left to buy Domino's!!... ??
