Really lovely little pub, done up in a modern style, friendly service and great food at good prices. Child-friendly.

A bit understaffed and overpriced because of it.

The food was cold and cooked from frozen. It's the first time I've been back in here since the previous owners left.Twice we had to ask for food as items were missing and having to wait 30 mins for dessert even though there were only 5 other people in this place at the time. The toilets, both the Male and Female had doors broken to the cubicles.1st and last time.Plus is it legal to have a camera in the toilets???

After hearing all the bad reviews about the place we went today with an open mind and so glad we did, the children's meals weren't too big they are enough for our children and the food was lovely I did ask for my steak well done but it was a bit pink apart from that it was the loveliest meal I've ever had from

Don’t know if it was the amazing drinks or the service but such an amazing experience indeed! Harshita’s service was impeccable and this shall be my go to bar for sure! We came there on a rainy day for a quick drink but ended up finishing three pitchers only for Harshita’s super nice and professional service. I hope to be served by her every time me and my partner are there!

I came here to work and have some food earlier this month. The food was yummy and the service was great.

I have visited the Cornerstone twice this week after not being around Kingston for a number of years.Last time remember it being a Hungry Horse (another Greene King brand) with the atmosphere of a zoo.The new place is really nice, many of the cheaper catchy offers have gone from the menu - along with the at table TV's with Peppa Pig and other junk blaring away in every booth and toy machines not in every corner.Popped in here today (Tuesday 16th January 2024) for a couple of drinks in the afternoon while freezing cold outside. The pub is so warm, quiet and friendly the hours passed quickly. Was only going to pop in for a quick drink, but stayed longer. The Madri was served perfectly. Decided to stay on for food as was so comfortable here.Ordered a Southern fried chicken burger and fries. It was served fresh, steaming hot with crispy fries. Full of flavour and an all-round hit - highly recommended to anyone.Had a great evening here, would happily recommend to others, and I will return again. Thank you for making my day better, its much appreciated ?Note; I don't know their names, but this afternoon (16/01/2024) the two ladies working at the bar.... 10/10...Please do pass on thanks to them.

Great place to eat and drink all around. It's about the same price as Wether spoons and not nearly as crowded. The staff are lovely and I definitely recommend this pub!
