I’ve been looking at this place for years when I come out of Kingston station and having read recent excellent reviews I took the plunge to visit and am so happy I did. We were greeted warmly by the manager and the food arrived very quickly - everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Fantastic value for money too - the bill for 2 of us including a drink and several dishes was £38 incl service. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and I shall definitely be making a return visit soon.

Had a wonderful night with a friend, can't comment on the cocktails as we had wine & gin but they looked great as lots of other people ordered them!The only slight issue was the wait time for our drinks to arrive, we thought they'd take the least amount of time as they're straight forward drinks but we both waited 10+ minutes for ours to arrive, not a negative as we had a great time but as an honest review I feel it should be mentioned.All staff fantastic, lovely and friendly - I didn't catch his name but the slender, red haired man with a beard served us and he was so bubbly!Would definitely return! ?

Was quiet on a Monday evening but not complaining as it meant we could talk easily. The food was lovely, nice crisp falafel which we had with yoghurt and cucumber for a starter. Main course was the mixed grill, which was really good apart from the minced lamb ones being a little oily. However it all tasted great! The waiter was super friendly and helpful, and I'd love to come back in the summer, sit overlooking the river and try one of the stews. And we should all support independent restaurants!

Great tucked away gem. Low lighting, dining set out well with some nice private spots. Good design layout. Situated right next to the river Thames. Lovely beer garden that I suspect is “Ram ed” in the summer… Staff are really friendly and promote the options well. Will definitely be heading back to this place.

Nice place to stop for a coffee or tea. We had two cream teas and the whole experience was good. Just place the order at the counter tell them your table number and it is brought to you. Restaurant has a good view from first floor in John Lewis of the junction of Clarence Street and Wood Street and the Bentall Centre facade by Maurice Webb 1935 (son of Sir Aston Webb who designed the facade of Buckingham Palace). You can even see the Eric Gill reliefs on the preserved facade.

Was so happy that I stumbled on this hidden gem overlooking the river. Stopped to have a cappuccino and was greeted by a warm welcome from Richie and had a great conversation about the local area and Croydon. Although I didn't have anything to eat I was impressed with the menu and the food that was coming out to the customers, looked plentiful and smelt delicious! What an absolute local gem! It's cozy inside with tables scattered around. You order and pay at the till which I quite enjoy, from there you go sit down and wait for your delicious coffee and food to be brought to you. The flat white is the best I've had, and I find it difficult to resist getting one when I'm in the area. The food is also heavenly. I can highly recommend their avocado toast with chorizo and poached egg as well as the salmon Benedict. Both of these dishes are simply fantastic and full of flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients as well as the effort that goes into the plating and presentation. We do eat with our eyes first. Once you have finished your meal and coffee, your table is quickly cleared by a friendly member of staff. Because you have already paid for your food, you can simply leave whenever you want. You are always waved out the door with a warm "bye, thank you" from staff. I will continue to support this amazing local hero!

I have been told by staff that some nights they may stay open later There isn't a dedicated cafe wc so you will have to use the cinemas disabled wc near by.

I visited Wendy's at Kingston twice. On both my visits, the food was delicious and fantastic.I ordered 2 double cheese stacks, with Baconator fries and fries with chilli and cheese on both my visits. Absolutely amazing.On the first visit, the staff were nice and welcoming.On my second visit, a staff member slammed my food on the counter with a grumpy look on her face. When I said "Thank you," the staff member didn't say anything. Instead, I was served by someone with a serious attitude problem.I would've given it a 5 star rating, but because of her attitude problem, it's 4 stars I'm afraid.If I didn't visit the second time, I would've given it a 5 star rating. The amazing food and service on my first visit made me come back. However, because of the service I received on my second visit, I regret returning to this restaurant.
