Good food, good ambiance. Server was rude. Food was yummy.Second visit update: Food was good again. Service was poor, had to wait 20 minutes to be seated although many tables were available.

A good quality menu that is not too long. Food always cooked well and tasty

Very nice Thai food in a slightly quieter street in Kingston. We were the first people in on a Saturday evening, so the service was very prompt and friendly. We ordered Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken and plain Jasmine Rice — along with a Tiger Lager and some Jasmine Tea.Pad Thai was very nice, with not much spice, and they did give you the option to add heat with chilli flakes which were on the side of the plate. The grilled chicken had lovely flavour with nice crispy bits of skin, but the salad was fairly spicy.Definitely recommend if you're into Thai or other Asian cuisines.

Had a fantastic meal here just tonight with my partner :) lovely considerate service made us feel very welcome and comfortable not to mention the food which was just perfect; the best Asian cuisine you could get in the whole town in a lovely quieter area! We highly recommend the Thai milk tea, thd calamari, the chicken padthai and the mango sticky rice! Definitely will come back and bring friends and family :)

The food and drink standard was very good as usual but the soft drink was a bit expensive. My mum enjoyed the experience for her birthday meal. We both had a lovely evening at the restaurant and would 100% go back!

BEST THAI IN THE AREA WITHOUT DOUBT! THE KING PRAWN HOT-POT IS TO DIE FOR, AS IS THE GRILLED DUCK, AND THE BEEF PENANG IS TERRIFIC TOO! ALL THEIR DISHES ARE AUTHENTIC AND EXCELLENT.

Good chosen restaurant! authentic taste! No regret!
This is basically a take away shop with some tables out front. Constant Uber eats orders in and out. Phones constantly going. Tom Yam Soup was just boiled water mushrooms and 4 packet frozen prawns & coriander and 1 whole red chilli. No shells or tails on. No lemongrass. No flavour. Like a home made pot noodle. Beef Salad was like leather. Sesame Chilli chicken was like a microwave meal. With over cooked congealed rice. It's about as authentic as the character Ting Tong.

To be honest we are pretty happy with the food.Staffs were nice. However the evening we visited the restaurant there was a big group for birthday celebration. We waited for 45 mins for a salad, a curry and pad Thai.I assume that's just an exception case. Staffs apologised for the long wait.Generally happy with the food. Portion can be slightly bigger.

The food at Thai on Thames is consistently superb - a real hidden gem in Richmond. Can't recommend it highly enough. The restaurant itself is spartan and plain....but you can't say that about the food!

I had higher expectations based on previous reviews posted. The food was really average. Duck curry was a bit overcooked. Soup and curry were oily. Pad See Ew was bland.Service and decor was nice and had a nice local neighbourhood vibe.Personally won't be returning

Authentic Thai food with the most reasonable price and friendly service in a nice Thai decorated and scented restaurant. Will return for sure. Was craving for good Thai food and my friend recommended Thai On Thames. First bite of the chicken satay dipped in their curry sauce made me smile as I immediately knew the spring roll and pad see ew with prawns would be great too. I told the lady who served my table how much I enjoyed the meal and extended my gratitude to their Thai chef. It’s the authentic flavor I had during my every visit to their country. Please keep up these cooking!
