My partner and I live fairly close to this restaurant and having lived here for 2 years all i can say is i wish we had gone sooner. The staff are amazing, we went in with our puppy and the chef and front of house staff were warm, welcoming and kind. The food - amazing. We had a starter, steak each and finished by sharing a sticky toffee pudding which was all incredible. They are genuinely nice people that work there and its such a rare find so close to the center of london

I only ever take the effort to leave a google review if somewhere really blows me away. This place is a proper hidden gem. I’ve lived nearby for over a year and this is the first time I’ve been here. Came for a Sunday roast and the service was that special kind that leaves a smile on your face afterwards and the food was so delicious and well priced that you’d come back even without the incredible service.Highly recommend!

We had such a magical first dining experience here today for a Sunday roast. The food is so incredible and amazing quality, from the homemade bread to the roast lamb. But the kind and friendly service is equally as special and welcoming. This is a fabulous restaurant! Chose it based on its reviews, menu and location to our Airbnb for a birthday celebration. Received a call a couple days in advance from LJ asking what we were celebrating and promising to make our evening special. AND IT WAS! Thanks to LJ and an incredibly talented chef, our meal was fantastic from start to finish. LJ supplied us with many extras to help us celebrate and was a phenomenal host. The food was awesome! Especially loved the Wild Mushroom & Truffle Arancini, Homemade Gnocchi with Butternut Squash and Pine Nut Pesto, and the incredible Carmelised Shallot Tarte Tartan. Sides of potato dauphinoise and creamed Brussel sprouts were wonderful and dessert was equally splendid: Yummy chocolate torte and sticky toffee pudding to write home about!

We had the most incredible Sunday roast here and loved the restaurant so much we went back for dinner. The atmosphere was perfect and the food and cocktails were amazing. We are so happy this is our local! The staff were so friendly, especially Mia, Chef Stingles, Rafa and we loved LJ!
