Pub hasn't changed in 30 years, and that's why I like it. Friendly locals and good service.

The pub of choice in the locality. First for great service. Whether you meet one of the trusty old-timers or a brand-new trainee, the service is always the same high standard. Equal first, the beer. The Oak always reliable for 'proper' beers and interesting guest ales. (I lament the intermittent presence of Ghost Ship, but then absence makes the heart grow fonder...) Harveys is the house regular. Prices still very competitive but, like everywhere, gone up lately. That's when the quality of the pint matters. Third, this is a 'talking' pub. No TV in the lounge, no piped music, no raucous games machines, just plenty of conversations and a friendly vibe. Great garden in the summer, though we're still missing the designer chickens who never returned after they got lonely in lockdown! Charming service, quaffable beer, friendly conversation, job done! (The Christmas 'Beer and Carol' nights are a local institution and hysterical.)

Cosy pub, a bit out of the way but there is a bus stop outside and some parking on side roads. Staff really nice and they specialise in exceptionally good pies! Attended a family birthday party which they accommodated well. A jukebox as well!

A great local London pub. Great food and good selection on tap.

First visit to this lovely traditional two bar pub. Front bar is L shaped with (I'm guessing) a mid 30s counter and dartboard. Spacious lounge bar panelling is certainly from the pre war era and leads out to a large garden. Decent drinks range with two cask beers available.

Good range of drinks and reasonable prices for the area. Not just front of pub but rear garden rare for the area

Popped in while I was working near the pub. Staff rude unless your one of the locals that drink there got a pint not a word from the young lad serving. Dreadful place. Much better pubs nearby than this

The pie and pint option was a good night out. My lovely wife could have her gf pie and out vegetarian friends could eat well too.The beer was great and a good selection was available ?

Nice sized saloon bar and garden. Famed for decent pies. Toilets are old style. Loads of gin. Beer selection not too hot but a few ales. Have a quiz night. Nice enough place for an area lacking good options.

Found the pub by chance. Only food is their specialised pies but they are the real deal. Pleasant atmosphere, good beer, great pies. Plus tried their new desserts which were delicious. Will be going there again...and again.
