I recently had a fantastic experience at an English pub that truly embodies the essence of a classic watering hole. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with rustic decor and a lively yet cozy vibe.

The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service from the barman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. His knowledge of the drink menu was impressive, and he made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes. I tried his suggestion of a locally brewed ale, and it was perfect—rich and full of flavor.

The pub also had a great selection of classic pub fare, and I enjoyed the fish and chips, which were crispy and delicious.

Overall, the combination of excellent drinks, hearty food, and top-notch service made for a memorable evening. A big thank you to the barman for his attentiveness and recommendations—it truly enhanced our experience! I can’t wait to return to this gem of a pub.

The food was ok . I was very disappointed when we got the bill as a service charge was on the bill, and no one said anything about it . And the veg was not hot it said cabbage and it was the top off leeks.

Amazing food, amazing staff. One of the best pubs in London. Really cozy and friendly enviroment and pet friendly!!! If you are ever in the area, its definitely worth the stop :)

Dietary restrictions: They have really careful staff that are extremely careful with allergies and dietary restrictions

Stopping by The Devonshire Arms in Kensington for drinks was a fantastic way to unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening in one of the city's more charming pubs. This traditional, beautifully preserved spot offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet drink after a long day.

The drink selection is excellent, featuring a well-curated range of beers, ales, and wines. If you're a craft beer enthusiast, you'll be spoiled for choice here. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to offer recommendations and guide you through their selection.

What makes The Devonshire Arms stand out is its combination of classic British pub vibes with a modern twist in terms of service and offerings. The rustic wooden interiors, dim lighting, and inviting fireplace create a perfect ambiance for unwinding, especially on cooler evenings. Despite its central location in Kensington, it feels like a hidden gem—away from the hustle and bustle, yet full of life with a great local crowd.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with a great selection of drinks and an authentic pub experience, The Devonshire Arms is well worth a visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening.

We were with a group of friends, good atmosphere and good price quality. They do table service on the terrace which is a plus.

We had a great time last week when we found this pub by chance. The staff were lovely and the prices very reasonable. Honorable mention goes to the chefs for the delicious fish and chips and the pies. We will return on our next trip to London.

The website suggests an interesting range of craft keg beers. We went last week and there were none. They only had a few uninteresting Camden and beavertown national brands together with the usual boring batch of lagers and two equally uninspiring cask beers... Very disappointing.

This is the first place we are while in London and we were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious. We had the Rosemary & Garlic Camembert baked in sourdough, and the fish and chips.

The atmosphere is charming, with the option to sit in the quiet restaurant side or the pub side. We loved the food, but especially the chicken ham leek pie, scotch egg, calamari and the sticky toffee pudding. Looking forward to visiting again!

Very English pub with a post work vibe in the courtyard and bar area. Longer than told wait for a table. Food was generally good, though the asparagus side was very undercooked. Service was friendly but they seemed overwhelmed and therefore slow.

The team were great! I had booked a space for about 25 people and Anna and team were super accommodating. We were a big group and we were given great attention. The food was great, the drinks were flowing - the cocktails were amazing (can be a little bit more spicy on those margaritas :P) Just a great venue for relaxed drinks with great service! Absolutely recommend for a drunk after work, a dinner with friends, or a birthday too. Just great great GREAT!
