New owners, I had cod pieces and chips 10 out 10, and large chips for the staff at the children's centre and they were impressed with the chips and asked where I got them from and then lot are fussy.

I Ordered From Here For The First Time On The 18th Of June And The Food Was Absolutely Perfect ??

I usually don’t have a problem with this place, and ok I didn’t have to wait an hour like I did 1 time a few years ago, but 30 minutes, well that’s still way to long. As soon as I walked in I could smell oil, something didn’t smell right, it was like the oil was off or hadn’t been changed. When I got home I proceded to eat my chips and they tasted nasty. Soggy, and you could taste the oil. The fish was WORSE! Absolutely horrid it was soft and mushy and had no flavour whatsoever. I’m happy to wait if they cook your food fresh which he did but I expect better as this place is usually spot on.Also the same issue as that time I had to wait an hour, the Deliveroo/just eat driver curse. You care more about delivery orders when you have paying customers waiting in line to be served.Next time I go in there I’ll order based on who served me the good quality I’ve come to expectI came back again 2nd June in the evening and it was spot on. Just the wait times again were long. I explained my previous experience and the same guy was apologetic which I appreciated. Why did it take an age to reply here though? Guys we live in the 21st century you need to look at online reviews

Nice food but the prices are already high and they keep putting them up even more. Way to drive your customers away.

Good value for money and good service too

Not sure thinks this place is nice but it’s AWFUL. Batter is soggy, no crisp to it at all. Chips prepared lazily, black bits all over them. If you want to taste quality fish and chips try olleys in Herne hill, Brockleys rock in Brockley or Kennedys in Streatham! Safe to say I will never order from this disgusting place again

Have to give a 3* for service, as they'd completely forgotten about me!Mind u, it was busy, but great piping hot chips!

The only place to go before a match at Selhurst Park. Queue often out the door for the takeaway but worth it, big portions and excellent taste across the menu. And great people!

Efficient/Cheap & good quality food!

Delicious haddock and chips. Massive portions but too good to leave. Arrived very hot and not long to wait. Will order again.

Excellent fish and chips. Very generous portions and smooth delivery.

Great service. Generous chip portion. They have a couple of tables if you fancy sticking around. We did, and they made us feel right at home; serving the food on plates and putting a nice (albeit random) background video on the TV of a woodsman building and chopping wood which was a nice bit of atmosphere and a talking point.
