Visited after a trip to Stamford bridge, very nice bread and cookies, along with good coffee as well. Well recommended and they have coat hangers at the seats as well!

I went to Gail’s for a late sandwich and hot chocolate 6o eat in - I was told by a surly worker that they don’t do hot chocolate, I asked for a suggestion that wasn’t coffee and she was completely uninterested. I ordered a small salmon and avocado roll, it had a smear of avocado and a tiny piece of salmon and the roll was quite tough. I was also told there weren’t any plates despite eating in - how bizarre. The value for money is very poor added to this the attitude of the workers.

I like the staff, I like the pastries but recently is very hit and miss. This morning I found the “kitchen to be closed” at 8.15am on a Wednesday morning ??! (Result - no pastries available). Often on Saturday at 8.30am they also run out of several pastries.. result - I have been going to Oree a lot more recently (they are more reliable) though I like it less

As a every single day customer, I got very frustrated with the new changes replacing the dark chocolate 75% by that so common chocolate syrups ?. The Mocha got sweeter much less healthier in my opinion. Answer from customer service were absolutely not convincing mentioning sustainability and swapping to syrup.I must mention the staff is always so polite, kind and wonderful service.

Usually a queue, at 5 , most things are sold out especially the bread. The dark sourdough is massive and nice when fresh. The mushroom and onion quiche was nice but too oily. Would be nicer warmed up.The ham and cheese croissant- nice, again oily and heavy, best warmed up.The pecan crumb cake was very average and didn’t really like it. Also overpriced at £4 for take away.Borek it’s was ok. A filling more on the blend side. The Parmesan chicken sandwich was excellent except makes you burp garlic after.

With an already stressful day ahead of us me and my wife thought we’d have a treat and decided to go to Gail’s this morning having breakfast having left our son to carry out several procedures in Chelsea Westminster Hospital. We ordered a flat white an Americano two buns a sandwich and soft eggs with sourdough soldiers. We sat down waiting for the soft eggs . she finished the bun and her sandwich and I finished my bun and coffee, I asked the Guy in the kitchen about my eggs and he said another 2 minutes to which I replied ok . I got up and got myself another flat white .The eggs arrived hard and I sent it back to kitchen . The guy started to argue with someone by the coffee machine , to which I interrupted and said not only did I make sure I asked for soft eggs …it’s also what it says on the board behind the counter no mention about hard eggs …. especially when you mention accompanied with toasted soldiers.Well after a few minutes I questioned when the eggs would be ready and he said soon I said that’s been too long they’re going to be hard again to which he replied no .Well guess what the eggs were hard again and our was running out . he told me everything was ok yes to which I replied no look at the eggs … he turned away grabbed his coat and a coffee and left the shop ..I couldn’t believe it … We were in a hurry to get back and just left saying that I would write a review later that evening…. Everything else was fine but he clearly became upset that I was questioning the eggs … they were hard again .Such a shame as a regular visitor to Gail’s this was my first bad experience….

Gails is most part Amazing, the only Big issue with this store, is what I think is the Manager here (long blond hair in ponytail) We work local to the area and go here almost daily. When I am served by her, she has always been really rude, short, sharp and generally unpleasent. This has also happened to my Fiencee, plus a number of her colleagues. She rolls her eyes at customers when they are not looking and just observing her bad attitude to other customers (including an elderly lady where I nearly stepped in to highlight how obnoxious she was being) its really frustrating to see. It's such a shame to let all the other lovely staff members down who always give amazing service. Looking at a few of the other comments on here, looks like other people have had similar issues with this person...

Creamy and filling porridge. But they sold out pretty quickly especially during weekdays. So need to come early to get my porridge fix. The girl working here is very friendly.

Great little bakery, bread and coffee shop a few metres from Chelsea and Westminster hospital, perfect place to wait before a doctor appointment or charge energy after one, as it has a sitting area in the back. Offers big variety of pastries and loafs of bread that can be cut in slices if needed. Coffee and some small plates offered too. A little overpriced, £9 for a latte and a ham&cheese croissant.

Go there every weekend because I work in the area. Coffee is great, and cake selection is not bad. However, there is one English woman there. I think she is the manager, and her service leaves a lot to be desired, a bit controlling, and comes across as fake and arrogant. She gave me the smallest portion of cream and jam with my scone that I've ever had.

I used to love coming here for a pastry and a coffee but over the last few weeks have been disappointed at the quality of the cakes and pastries. I may just have been unlucky but when we are all being so much more considered in our spending it really does need to be great every time. It’s still good but it’s just lost the edge for me x

It could not be any slower getting a coffee here today. The trainee had no one training her and did not know what the difference between a takeaway cup or porcelain stay in cup. Took me 10 minutes and there wasn’t a queue. When she got a second takeaway cup (after I had shown her the normal eat in cups) someone came over and said “it’s okay she’s training”. I said why is no one training her then? “She’s just taking longer”. I said people have places to be. The tables are dirty, need clearing. They are all in bank holiday slow mode. Not everyone else is. Go to Nero. The lady there serves 3 people correctly at the same time

Not the best service, the rhubarb pie could be better. They have no sugar for your coffee or tea!

Great place for lunch or just a cup of tea or coffee.

Breakfast menu is quite limited as they are not able to really deviate from the set menus offered. (Example: They can not offer egg pouched/fried as a side) you can only get egg as a baked dish meal on it’s own at £7+.How can they not be able to add an egg as a side to your avocado on toast (like they can with the bacon) silly! The seating is hard oak benches (with a padded back rest) & hard ply chairs. There are not really any plug sockets to use for laptop work. The food is decent quality though, but pricey for most people. The picture with the quiche - avocado - bacon on toast is how a dish option should come in my opinion, otherwise you’ll just be getting avocado on toast with no real protein.
