We decided to celebrate a special occasion at Medlar after reading the reviews. We booked well in advance and the manager tried to seat us right in front of the door on a chilli night when we arrived. We declined and he kindly took us to the back of the restaurant where he found a nice corner for us. The food was excellent, perfectly executed using top quality seasonal ingredients. ***Eat incredible food at a reasonable price***Looking at the food you would think that it would cost much more than it is. If I lived in London, I would come here very often. The fish was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect doneness. Both the front of the house and back of the house know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.Visit: 1

As 5/5 as it gets. Classical French cuisine done in a highly professional manner. The food (crab raviolo, smoked salmon, duck breast, Cornish brill) was immaculate with well balanced flavours and cooked to perfection. What really stood out, however, was the service. Every member of the staff made us feel at ease and added to a pleasent evening.
