STAFF NOT COLLABORATIVE AND FLEXIBLE. After displaying a royal paper card filled with all the stamps, the Staff wasn't kind enough to give me the free coffee that I was technically entitled. Because Gail's doesn’t use these paper cards anymore, but I explained to the staff I wasn't aware of the new collection of stamps online on the App. The Staff didn't propose any other solutions rather than let me pay without taking consideration of the previous stamps. I find this unbelievable and unfair to apply a rule retroactive. I had the feeling the Staff did not address the issue professionally, it didn't provide the correct customer service and It didn't show willing to retain a customer. This is not the treatment an habitual customer would expect from a high standard market leader company like Gail's.

Baked goods almost always great. However, the almond croissant I ordered once was hard, made me think it was an old one mixed up with the rest. And once the smoked salmon roll was hard too, I had to take it home to microwave... Won't be buying these again.But the coffee is a proper hit or miss, most miss. I don't know how many times I need to ask the staff to make it HOT! I order extra hot, then to be sure I kindly and with a smile (!) remind the barista to make it really hot because many times they didn't get the idea of 'extra hot'. The 'extra hot' coffee comes tepid...and even after kindly asking barista to make it really hot, they still serve it barely hot...(??). I've been very kind and always polite about it and gave them way too many chances. But you know what, I'm done. I won't be having coffee there any more. By the way, staff could at least fake a smile, sometimes. I feel like an enemy entering the shop. I've been spending lots of money recently there but since the staff can't even make a simple order right, thanks but no thanks. Other coffee shops can somehow manage to heat up the milk properly on the first go without being asked 2x!

Same product has gone up at least 3 times in the last six months. Excruciating prices. I hope more people start supporting small businesses and not the greedy chain like Gail’s.

Same product has increased in price nearly 3x in less than a year. I keep noticing that prices keep changing every other month. Other businesses also struggle with increased energy bills but I don’t know any other that does this. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Disappointing.

Ordered an Oat Latte for takeaway. I thought this branch is much better than the one at West Hampstead, but no!!! The staffs were rude! Come on, it’s early in the morning ? SMile!!! It’s kind of like no enough space inside. Coffee is just right?!?!

Perfect location if you are visiting the Royal free hospital. Had a lovely hot chocolate and blueberry muffin, cost was very reasonable for London, staff pleasant, bakery nice and clean.

Bought two cakes at the weekend. Attempted to eat them when we got home but they were so dry they ended up in the bin. Disappointing and a total waste of good money!

Standard Gail's. Smaller than some. Had some original treats on show that looked like they were worth a try (pistachio, lemon and rose cake). We bought hot cross buns. Staff were kind. Loads of types of bread too, including plant based sourdough.
