My first visit in many years and it lived up to the memories. A wonderful atmosphere and still very intimate and with a log fire. Excellent and friendly service, good food and reasonable prices for the area. A very enjoyable lunch with old friends and we will definitely be back again soon.
We had a small reunion of our 1960's Hornsey College of Art graphics group in The Flask pub, Hampstead, which proved to be the ideal venue for it. The fourteen of us met for lunch in the smaller public bar with tables reserved, and spent the highly enjoyable entire afternoon there. Our key pub contact was lovely helpful Meg who made sure that everything went as planned, and along with the other very friendly helpful staff it all went brilliantly. We happened upon this cozy spot for lunch last week, while touring the area. Lucky us. The food was delicious. I ordered the salmon salad, which turned out to be the best salad I have ever had anywhere. Fabulous! And our waiter Dan was a delight, friendly, cheerful, helpful. He suggested a beer and brought us tastes of two to choose between. We had such a wonderful time, a highlight of our trip to London.
