We visited the Galvin on Saturday night for dinner. Very peaceful atmosphere - almost spa-like in the reception and a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings. Food was presented very well. Can highly recommend the flat iron steak, which was cooked to perfection. Service from Ash was impeccable. The only reason for 4 stars on the food was the lack of clarity on gluten free dishes. Friday evening dinnerExcellent venue, though a little difficult to find as entrance on side road.Food on par, but the service was poor.About 75% full at the time.Constantly left waiting; to place the order, to get servers attention, to have the table cleared, for the dessert menu to appear...Eaten in several Galvin's over the years with impeccable food and service, but won't be in a rush to return here.3.5/5...
Loved this restaurant and would definitely recommend! Top end price, but worth every £££.Service was excellent from start to finish. Although full, the restaurant didn't seem busy, as there was plenty of space between the tables.The food was excellent!
