3 times in a row our order has come late and only after we call the restaurant to ask where it is. The 2nd time they also forgot one of our items. The food is delicious so I understand that there are probably many orders being received regularly, but we will not be ordering from here anymore because lateness 3 times in a row is simply not good.

Decided to treat myself and have always had tasty food from the Great Wall The egg rolls are good and crispy with bean sprout filling. The vegetable fried rice seemed to contain only celery. The Special Soo Chow Wonton is a large portion with lots of chicken, BBQ pork veggies and one mushroom! The fried Wontons tend to get soggy and should probably be packaged separately. According to the menu I checked later @ home, my 3 items were $17.20 +tax ($19.44). The cashier used a calculator and said the total was $21.95. So, insist on a receipt or you may be overcharged. This is certainly not the way to retain customers!

Stopped ordering from here a few years back because the one time I went inside to order, it was really grubby, which put me off.Today I glanced in the window and everything looked clean and shiny, so I thought I'd give them another go.While waiting for my order (2 other customers waiting also), staff began a screaming row with each other right there in the counter area, and I do mean SCREAMING. It went on so long I went outside for a minute. Came back in and they were still at it, so asked them to please lower the volume as they had customers. They merely sat down behind the counter and the woman continued to scream at top volume. By now there was a delivery courier waiting and he couldn't stand it either and went and stood outside. People walking past on the street were staring in through the window at the noise.Other seated customers seemed to be pretending not to notice. I had already paid, but I wish now I had simply asked for a refund and left. Food was ok but pricier than most local Chinese and with that sort of behaviour I won't ever be going back.Given their rude & dismissive responses to previous poor reviews, I don't imagine they care much.

I really love eating at this restaurant. They have the most delicious chicken and shrimp!

They sent me food with maggots in then blamed me.Informed FSA and 4 days later they asked to send the maggot infested food to them. I had thrown it away the day I found it.Called the restaurant to inform them and they said its not their fault.DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!!!Their food will make you sick ??

As my neighbouring Chinese takeaway recently achieved a hygiene rating close to zero, I thought it wise to extend my life expectancy by switching to another and randomly ordered from Great Wall. An excellent decision!Good fresh food, nicely cooked with flavour and without tons of salt and oil. I will definitely be back. Thank you!(Sorry, too late for photos as it's all been eaten.)
