Very nice hotel, with great service, in a super fun location! Leicester Square is very vibrant and active and you can walk to just about everything! Especially good for theatre-goers. The hotel breakfast is worth adding -- really good food and variety.

Rooms very clean. Hotel is very well appointed with all that you need during the stay. Furniture in the room is dated however still very useful and comfortable. Thick quality room curtains block out the bright lights of Leicester Square. Breakfast in the hotel is outstanding, wonderful selection of fresh food. Staff in the dining room took care of our family well during the stay. If you ADD breakfast with your room at the time of the booking or check in the charge of the breakfast is much cheaper. Hotel dining not available on Monday and Tuesday nights, missed opportunity here as the restaurant for dinner is sensational. Very warm welcome when you arrive, easy check in process. Small GYM with cardio machines. If you are after something right in the heart of the tourist area in London this is the place. So much food/entertainment/pubs/bars within metres of you leaving the hotel.

Staff were so unbelievably friendly and helpful and bent over backwards to assist anything we required! The doormen were particularly wonderful and helped us squeeze all our purchases into a new suitcase we purchased! Breakfast was cooked fresh and it tasted delicious! 5 star review!

This is the first time we have used the Hampshire, it was excellent. The guys on the door give you a lovely smile upon entry and the reception staff also. We didn't have an evening meal but we did have breakfast. This is both continental and cooked and is served buffet style, eggs other than scrambled can be cooked to order. We were looked after by Sonia who provided an excellent service;professional, but also warm and friendly nothing was too much trouble. If you are a first time visitor to London you could not find a much better location, most theatres are within a 10-15 minute walk, Covent Garden also. If you want the cinemas they are a 2 minute walk away. Leicester Square tube is nearby as is Charing Cross overground Station.

Just on our way home after a stay here for my husband's birthday. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. There was a birthday card and cake waiting for us in our room which was a nice touch. Lovely bed and very soft fluffy pillows. A great base for exploring London. Breakfast was all you could want. Our waitress, Sonia was so friendly and helpful. A real asset to the hotel. There was everything you could want from cold meats, smoked salmon, cheeses and breads, fruits, yoghurts and cereal. The hot food was buffet style but instead of the scrambled eggs you could ask for whatever type of egg you wanted. We had poached. There was a very good selection of hot food. Also, a great selection of pastries. Definitely a meal to set you up for the day.

I was with my 12 year old daughter for her first London city trip. Staff was very kind to her asking and suggesting her on city tips. Our bonus was the room (6th floor) with a great view on the Eye wheel and the Big Ben!

If you are in need of a sharps bin for your room good luck. We had a shaps bin with someone else’s medical waste already in and the bin closed. However, the chap who was sent to help. Said “these are not supplied by us” “would a container ie margarine tub do”. Not overly impressed. Also we booked a twin premium room some time ago They had no twins so put a camp bed in room. I am a grown Man and would not fit in said bed. Nothing else they can do. So bed removed from room and now the two of us are sharing the double. I hope there is nothing else. The staff themselves are pleasant enough.

Hotel is literally opposite Leicester Square Odeon so is extremely well placed to get to all the sites. Tube is a 2 minute walk. Staff from the start were extremely helpful and went beyond what was expected. Beds very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was included and was tasty with decent coffee. If I had to be picky the room was a bit drab but that might just be personal taste. Reception and the downstairs areas are lovely.

I am very satisfied with the stay, but would have preferred if it was less expensive. Location is very good. tThe service and quality of the breakfast was very good. very friendly personnel in the breakfast hall.

This is not a five star hotel. We stayed in room 210 and the decor of the room was not five star or four star, possibly not even three star. The room was dark and had old wooden furniture. It was approximately 8ft wide by 8ft high in parts. The brown walls are very dingy and well marked. The view from the window we had was horrendous, we looked directly into a wall. We were offered a change of room but as stated by reception “Unfortunately all of our king superior room have a limited view”. The old wooden furniture is in total contradiction the plush style they are going for in reception. There is a service room right across from our room and we had to try dodge the hoover which was left there constantly . The towels over the toilet is just down right bad . The location is good but.

Great Location and Quiet even though it is bang in Leicester Square. The toilets were clean and the towels were really refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. The staff were really polite and attentive and accommodating. Top marks to Sonia, Marco and Magan. Would definitely go there again. Sunil

Sharing plates were quite good, sliders, short rib tacos, and the margaritas were amazing ?

The hotel was amazing, and the room overlooked Leicester Square and was immaculate. The bed was huge and very comfortable. All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely be staying again.

Travelled with adult family members to celebrate a birthday at the Royal Opera House. This hotel is in a wonderful location, staff are superb, food and service outstanding. Downsides are that the windows don’t open in the bedrooms - madness, stuffy and a definite lack of oxygen. I don’t like to think of the rooms not being aired between guests either. Another disappointing feature was that the cups, glasses and teaspoons in the rooms are all individually wrapped in plastic which absolutely shouldn’t be happening.
