Popped in after stroll to the observatory on a Sunday. Traditional turkey dinner off main menu for the wife. Plus chick and mushroom pie for me. Both delicious and plentiful. Pie was full and kept giving. Mash smooth with a fab sauce on top. The flint eye lager washed it down so well! Possibly could have had the music turned down a couple of notches. But they were good tunes!

Stopped at this nice establishment for a quick bite.Surprised but the generous servings. Friendly service in nice pub setting.

Friendly staff, great service and a relaxed pub. Unfortunately the triple fried chips were very pale and not crispy; just ordinary once-fried chips. The Aperol Spritz was also very pale and weak - too much soda water was added. I wouldn't recommend it, so just order wine or beer rather than cocktails.

Been to this place 3 times, unfortunately. The most rude staff you can ever find, do not go here if you want a nice evening, plenty better places around.First time we went here, we got shouted at for breaking a glass and staff having to sweep it - we didn’t break it, it was left by previous guests.Second time, we were with a dog. It is a ‘dog friendly’ place. When we went to grab a pint from the bar we heard the staff talking between themselves how nasty our dog is and how they hate people coming here with dogs. (We confronted them about it and their attitude was more than dismissive). Least you could have done is to apologise.Third time, they sold us beer from the bar. When we came to grab a second pint, we were declined due to not having an ID. We are over 30. You already sold us pints? IDs of other customers were not checked. To the bearded guy who is probably the manager - find yourself another job, hospitality is not meant to torment girls on your power trip.

Popped on for a drink before Madonna concert (she was fab). Really lovely pub, busy as rugby was on. The roast dinners looked really tasty - saw the 1/2 chicken one go past- smelled amazing and great portion size. The beer garden at the back is really quaint. Would definitely visit again for drinks and food.

We’ve been going to this place for 7 years since we moved to Greenwich and it used to be our favourite. We would even take our friends here telling them “it’s the place to try fish and chips guys” but yesterday we were so disappointed with our food? I came there to have their usually fantastic tasty and golden soft fish but instead I got dark brown stone crusty something that clearly didn’t identify as fish anymore and was absolutely inedible (you can see it my photo - it’s actually all the “fish” after i broke the crust , I couldn’t eat it). I don’t know why I didn’t complain to the staff or didn’t ask for a replacement food, probably because I was too tired to start that) I hope it was a one time situation and whoever cooked that “fish” yesterday will never do it again.

Great ol’ pub with good vibes. The food was descent and I’ll definitely be back when visiting Greenwich again. You order at the bar and they bring the food.

Favorite pub in Greenwich. I mean it’s kinda standard but that’s not a bad thing. Usually not too busy unlike the rest of the Greenwich pubs. Nice cozy vibe inside and a solid garden out back. Staff are great.Food could be improved (shared the chicken platter) but would really just go here for drinks anyways.

I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast at this charming pub in Greenwich. Really nice patio area, and good atmosphere in general. Maybe it's the location, but it came off as very touristy in case you were looking for any local flavour. I suppose I can't complain though, because I was there as a tourist.

A lovely place in a lovely area. The food honestly wasn't the best or the worse, a little mid and the service we got could have been better but other than that, it's a very nice place. The ambiance on the outside terrace is relaxed but alive and it's a nice break from the busier parts of London.

The pub provides a wonderful hangout spot! With great food and drinks, it offers a cozy environment. It's a perfect place to relax with friends and have a good time. The friendly atmosphere adds to the overall enjoyment. If you're seeking a spot to unwind and share good moments, the pub is an excellent option!

Great little pub with excelent food and atmosphere. We ordered their signature kings arms burger and chicken kyiv and it was amazing.Delicious and the portion sizes were extensive.Don't let me get started on the garlic bread. Simply lovely.Great selection of beers and nice staff to pour them for you.Sitting in the backyard you get the feeling like you're in a little old town terrace.Would highly recommend!!!

It was hot and we wanted to go somewhere with an outside space - wow! What a lovely little pub in the centre of Greenwich. The beer garden is really pretty with strung festoon lights and lots of seating and quite intimate, but not cramped. Think 'Secret Garden' vibes. The only downside with outdoor spaces is that not everyone is a smoker and we were sat eating next to a table of smokers who clearly did not consider anyone other than themselves - including my two children. The entire footprint should be no-smoking if food is being offered. The pub is immaculately clean - spotless - and beautifully decorated. Enough theme but not gimmicky. There were two front of house staff on - Maclaren and Jana and the chef, Taylor. It was quite a busy late Sunday afternoon. They had clearly been rushed off their feet all day and yet we were greeted with big smiles and a warm welcome, as was everyone else that came in behind me. Maclaren was also very pregnant and yet she zipped about confidently offering the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. She is a star employee and great ambassador for the brand. The food was slow coming because only one chef was on, but we were warned of this BEFORE we ordered so it was our decision to stay put. And so glad we did. The food was excellent value and Taylor did a great job on their own in the kitchen.I forgot to mention they are super doggy friendly. All in all, our new favourite little gem in the centre of Greenwich.
