I had my daughters 4th birthday party here and it was exceptional. Joy couldn't have done a better job. The party was the best one I have had or even been to. She did so many activities for the kids, potion making, bone hunting, scavenger hunts, green chocolate fountain, witch relays. She made food for the adults and decorated the place amazingly. All the parents said how amazing it was and the kids said it was the best party they'd ever been to. Great Value and so so much thought went into everything, especially the homemade piñata, personalised goody bags and Witch Graduation certificates.

The spot it is situated has an OK view, looking across the park. I ordered a chocolate brownie which was extremely dry and tasted like it was a left over spare one which was baked last week. The mug of coffee was only filled 3/4 of the was filled up. The old American lady was extremely unwelcoming. Not even a hello or thank you from her. Everything seemed as if it was a huge effort for her and generally rude. I only ordered a tea. Americano and a chocolate brownie, simple right? I will not be returning to this place though I have had better experiences previously. I DO NOT recommend this venue.

It had been raining when we went, so it was quiet, had carrot cake, it tasted lovely.

This cafe is practically perfect: delicious and affordable food, the friendliest team in east london, toys, books and high chairs for the little ones and a huge park outside for those who are older. Always lots of free community events taking place on school holidays or open Mike / markets at weekends.

Love this place so much. Such a gem of a community cafe. Great food for the price and really appreciate you trying to be as inclusive as possible with your prices and resources. Also so rare to find a business that puts people before profit in that you give free lunches to those who need it and are always trying to find ways to combat loneliness etc. thank you. Only minor criticism is that it gets really stuffy in there, which you don’t notice when you’re in there but can be a bit off putting when you enter.Edit 07/23: prices have now gone up 20%ish so a flat white is £3.30- artisan prices for definitely non-artisan coffee! This used to be my go-to for cheap but cheerful fare, but now it’s not cheap so doesn’t offer good value for money. £1.60 for a babycino is a joke. Literally nowhere does that!!
