We booked here as we have family living nearby and they highly recommended this hotel. Unfortunately the day before we are were due to arrive, my partner fell ill with covid. As it was so late, I fully expected the best case scenario to be offered a date change and worst case, having to pay the full room rate for the missed night. We had been to the 'Luna Lounge'' but not enjoyed it, as we needed to catch up and it was too loud. We moved on to the 'Red Lion'. I loved the comfy sofas and the atmosphere was chilled but with a good vibe. It was a Saturday and sport was happening on a TV screen somewhere.
One of the better pubs the Leyton/Leytonstone area. Only been for Sunday Lunch but atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Could have spent all day there.Had Beef roast, good meat (and generous) also the red cabbage was great. Spuds could have been more crisp and gravy could of had more power.
