Love this place. Took me ages to get round to going here, id always noticed it as is shares my sons namesake and I regret that it took me so long. Food is amazing and staff are lovely. Always lovely and clean and really decent portions. It has become a favourite of my family.Parking: Parking available downnside roads and some main road spots if lucky. I usually park for free down the side road, always been a spot.
Hidden gem. Like someone else has said, don't be put off by the fact it seems quiet so much of the time. Food is excellent at what it is aiming for: Italian food that suits the English palette. That's not damning with faint praise, and I'm a huge fan of authentic Italian too. They both have their place. The pizza is fantastic, straight up. I really hope Renzo and Mauro is only temporarily closed for a holiday or something, as we absolutely love this restaurant. The food is so delicious, the staff are welcoming. Our favourite local restaurant. Please come back soon.Gutted just found out they have closed and are under new management. So upset- Renzo and Mauro (The Pasta Pot) was fantastic and I don't think the new place will be the same.I don't know why they didn't let customers know they were closing
