This little gem of a cafe is one you must visit. The spice carrot soup was delicious. Served with sourdough toast. We took away a flapjack and a piece of the carrot cake. Both were divine. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Super friendly owners, great range of food and very nice coffee. Would love for there to be smaller tables allowing for more room to move and more people in ones and twos. Bonus request is to put toast spreads on the side; my peanut butter was too thick for me?.

I get a cappuccino and lemon drizzle slice every now and then. Great coffee, tasty food and the place is nice and cosy. Service is good too. Recommended.

Nice cafe. Been here a few times. The owner the other week even though they were about to close made a special effort to stay open for 2 women and children who'd been out swimming and wanted ice creams and cookies and drinks and it was raining which I thought was really nice of her!Had delicious flapjack and takeaway bread and butter pudding and tea. Will definitely return.

Great tasting coffee and a great twist on bread and butter pudding with croissants - delicious.

We were looking at a full on day work wise and in an ideal world a good coffee and good (not stringy/undercooked meat and flabby bread) bacon sandwich. Stuck in traffic due to the rain this looked a rapidly diminishing possibility. On passing this cafe I suggested we try there. A good decision! One of the best bacon sandwiches- meat good and excellent sourdough bread and in my case with cress which was a gentle contrast. Coffee excellent although would have preferred a bigger cup. Reasonably priced. £16 for the two of us (we had the same save I had soya milk and he didn’t have cress). A good find. Lady that served us was in flustered and efficient.

Fantastic cafe - spacious, light-filled and with characterful decor. The cakes are all homemade by the owner and are superb. I never used to like bread & butter pudding before, but the waitress here recommended theirs and now it is one of my favourites - heavenly!

Absolutely food and wonderful staff. The salt beef and crispy chicken sourdough sandwich are out of this world. Everything is made from home, including these awesome flapjacks. The coffee is really great too, and the baristas super friendly, helpful and happy to be there. The head chef is a magician. One of these rare coffee shops that has an atmosphere unlike elsewhere. Go visit!

Nice food and nice atmosphere until the place emptied out around 2pm and the music stopped! The coffee was disappointing I'm afraid.
