Really disappointing that we sat at a table, near the entrance, and had felt the need to leave a blocker on the double door entrance to prevent people entering the establishment from leaving the doors open, as was the doors want from technology. The disappointment came from when, what was obviously a worker at the establishment, entered and effectively threw the chair at us, somewhat disgruntled at it being there or perhaps her having to work the Saturday night, but made us feel uncomfortable in the environment we were in and made us want to leave swiftly. A shame all around, as it seemed like a nice pub.

To be honest nice venu.. we went for a Christmas dinner which was horrible. Service was very slow. Roast was raw, Brussels like stone, Potatoes over fried. The brownie was like goo. Most of our plates went back. Manager tried to say a dozen of us were wrong. I'm sorry but it's a first and last for me personally. The MC Donald's on the way home was better.

Great place for some beers, the food is really good quality and definitely try out the quiz, Harvey is world class! Cannot recommend this place enough.

The staff are so inexperienced and slow! Inside staff we're extremely slow! Outside staff was better but just so moody. Obviously really cold outside at the end of November, but I would have thought all the heaters would work, but no, they didn't! They didn't have two different rums! Otherwise the place was full for a Friday night and good vibe.

Thank you so much to all the team at the Kings Arms. Rosie behind the bar convinced me to book the private room and go to this pub for our work Christmas party a few months ago and it did not let us down!! We had such a fantastic night! The food was amazing and with so many great options on the menu for everyone (the roast potatoes are by far the best I’ve had). The private room is super cosy with a private bar and great for large groups. Not to mention the staff are so friendly and such a great help. We had such a great night and were well looked after! Thank you! - The Latin Routes Team!

We had an excellent team Christmas lunch at the King's Arms last week. We managed to get the private space, at the front of the pub, which worked perfectly for our group. The staff were friendly, helpful and on the ball. The pub is well priced and the food quality was very good, we all enjoyed our meals. Some of the team relocated to the Secret Garden and spent the whole evening there, which was brilliant. We sat in a cabin, with patio heater, so were plesantly warm. The rounds of Baby Guiness shots certainly helped!Would recommend.

We had our work Christmas Party Dinner here last night, and it was honestly incredible. We had a private room set up for the 20 of us which was decorated so nice and Christmassy. The food and service was great. We had pre ordered food and drinks, where the drinks were all laid out for us, where we could help ourselves, and it was very relaxed and just lovely.

I booked the Kings Arms for our works Christmas lunch. The KA team was great in responding to emails quickly, helping with different food requests and flexible with last minute changes. The table was set up all Christmassy and the staff on the day were very attentive and generally really friendly. We had a mishap with a lost phone later in the evening but the same team found it and got in touch so all was not lost. Thank you to the team, we all had a lovely afternoon, good food and a really good atmosphere. Happy Christmas!

Really busy night as it was the rugby final. The staff made it a great experience and managed it so well. Burger and chips were delicious and delivered to the table ?

Was here over the weekend, honestly such a vibe! The staff are so friendly and attentive. One of my favourite pubs in the area and to say I’m part of the furniture at this point, is an understatement. ?

Ordered a burger and received the wrong item after waiting for 40 minutes.Repeated back my order at the counter to make sure that everything was fine cause the price that i paid for wasn’t matching what i was expecting to pay.Received two portion of fries and scotch egg (40 minutes and it wasn’t even busy) staff didn’t look like efficient.Regarding the quality of the food it was a disaster, fries was way overcooked and looked like the cook just dropped some leftover fries back into the fryer to heat them up.The burger had the ox cheek that tasted like old.Scotch egg was not bad but not worth 8 poundsThe menu is way expensive and compared with the quality is definitely not worth.Been two times already in this pub and both times was very unsatisfactory.I personally don’t like to write negative reviews, last time I didn’t leave any reviews but today after second chance i felt like i paid lot and received not a satisfactory experience in terms of service and quality.

Nice pub with outstanding beer garden. Would definitely recommend for meeting with lots of people who prefer drinking outside as the space is massive. Food did take a while to arrive (but was worth the wait)

I'm very disappointed in my last visit to the King's Arms. A friend took me there for my birthday and we were escorted to a 'quiet room' in the back of the pub. We had a nice meal and it was very pleasant until someone came in a turned on the big screen television to watch the rugby. Huge speakers blaring out incredibly loudly. No one told us this was going to happen. The people watching the rugby couldn't care less they were ruining our lunch. I complained to a member of staff who said, "We are not a sports bar but we do show sports". Very unlikely I will return to the King's Arms. We will go to the Spread Eagle instead.
