Rosie behind the bar convinced me to book the private room and go to this pub for our work Christmas party a few months ago and it did not let us down!! We had such a fantastic night! We had an excellent team Christmas lunch at the King's Arms last week. We managed to get the private space, at the front of the pub, which worked perfectly for our group. The staff were friendly, helpful and on the ball. The pub is well priced and the food quality was very good, we all enjoyed our meals.Some of the team relocated to the Secret Garden and spent the whole evening there, which was brilliant. The staff are so inexperienced and slow! Inside staff we're extremely slow! Outside staff was better but just so moody. Obviously really cold outside at the end of November, but I would have thought all the heaters would work, but no, they didn't! They didn't have two different rums! Otherwise the place was full for a Friday night and good vibe.
