The baby changing toilet was particularly unsanitary, with an overflowing bin of dirty nappies. Overall, the lack of attention to cleanliness detracted significantly from the dining experience at Zizzi Tower Bridge.

Despite the restaurant not being busy, it seemed understaffed, which might explain the lack of welcoming smiles or any semblance of hospitality from the staff. It felt as though they would rather be anywhere else.Upon being seated, we noticed our table was dirty. Though it was eventually cleaned within a reasonable timeframe, the delay in service didn’t end there. It took an inordinate amount of time for our server to take our order, only to be told that our initial choices weren’t available, forcing us to settle for alternatives.The culinary experience further dampened our visit. The house white wine lacked body and tasted watered down. The vegetables served to the kids were far from fresh and lacked flavor, and the pizza was disappointingly dry. Even the dessert from the set meal took an additional 20 minutes to arrive.To cap it off, the staff’s indifferent attitude persisted throughout our visit, and we were surprised to find a service charge automatically added to our bill—a bold move considering the level of service provided.In conclusion, our visit to Zizzi Tower Hill was underwhelming, to say the least. Given the lack of warmth, subpar food, and the presumptuous inclusion of a tip for service that was barely provided, we will not be returning. Good luck to future visitors; you might need it.
