“I managed to get a table for my wife and myself off the street. We were dressed smartly but casual. They were quite busy, but they were very pleased to welcome us. We were sat down before we were shown to our table. Overall the food and wine was as high a stranded I have ever eaten, and I am a very good cook. I only ordered the house recommend wines as I prefer good food, which made the wine taste superb. We had a great meal in very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent, professional but friendly. Highly recommend a visit. We will book next time to avoid disappointment.”

“From the time you enter the snug bar area downstairs you feel the homely atmosphere, despite it being situated right in the Soho area. There is additional seating upstairs but we never went there. We spent a couple of hours on a Saturday waiting for friends before going to the Jazz club opposite and it continually filled up and emptied as people passed through, but generally there were ususally a few stools left to sit on a lot of people stood outside, which may give you the impression that it is rammed inside which it isn't. Drinks were in line with most London pubs and the staff were friendly and efficient despite being constantly busy. Tables were cleared continually by the staff. Overall impressed and will visit again when next in London. It does food but we didn't eat there.”
