Accept we arrived 14 mins past our 7.15pm reservation time but upon arrival, we were told by the hostess we had up to 8.45pm to dine on a Saturday night which didn't start our night off well and felt rushed. 1.5 hr seating for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night is unheard of and I wore my thought of the restaurant policy on my face. 15 minutes into our evening where we found it hard to grab the attention of wait staff, so we could rush the food and drinks order, the same hostess came by to tell us that we could stay a little longer or we could be moved to a different table if they needed that table back as compensation. Upon checking the reservation confirmation via sevenrooms the next day, it clearly states "Each reservation is for 2 hours, with a 15 minute grace period." which is the first thing a hostess should be versed on to set a dining experience. Otherwise, the ambience of the restaurant was lovely and the food decent.

We came in from LA and wanted to eat at the beautiful Madera. We didn't realize we needed reservations, but the manager Vanessa was very accommodating and made us a private table near the chef's area and it was perfect. The bartender Zakaria the bartered made us phenomenal drinks and even gave us a few to try on the house. The food was exceptional and very fresh. I would highly recommend if visiting this area.

The food was equally delightful, especially the ROCKS dishes, which were bursting with flavor. The enchiladas were a standout, showcasing the chef's expertise in Mexican cuisine.While the guacamole could have benefited from a bit more seasoning, the overall dining experience was elevated by the exceptional hospitality. Despite a severe delay in our food order due to miscommunication, the manager went above and beyond to apologize and offered us a round of drinks on the house. His gesture was greatly appreciated and showcased the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction.Additionally, the highlight of the evening was the mesmerizing fire show. Really nice dinner at Madera. Food was really good. Portions and prices were reasonable considering it's a high-end area and the restaurant is in a hotel. However, 17£ for a cocktail is way too expensive. The view is probably what you pay for since it's fantastic. All in all great experience, thank you.

Drinks were good - the spicy Margherita was lovely and I'd definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, we had to ask four times (over the course of over an hour) for a particular round to arrive. It wasn't even complicated as we asked for 8 of the same drink. It shouldn't be that difficult. The setting was good though and the duck tacos were pretty nice.
